🚨 TODAY: Settler-terrorists attacked Andrey, Jasper and me. This video shows the assault.
Andrey was severely beaten and lost consciousness several times in front of police. Despite this, he was denied hospital treatment. He was put in an ambulance—but instead of being taken to hospital, he was taken to a police station.
He is still there, arrested and being denied medical care.
Jasper and I were also beaten. Jasper was then pepper-sprayed and arrested.
HAPPENING NOW🚨🚨: @the_andrey_x @infinite_jaz and I were attacked by settler-terrorists in Umm al-Khair!!
They beat us, threatened to shoot us, stole Andrey's phone and my glasses and pepper-sprayed Jasper.

Israeli police told the lawyers that Andrey does not need hospital treatment.
No one has been able to contact him, and his current condition is UNKNOWN.
He is currently detained at the police station.

If we were all to send Danny Tommo an @RNLI Christmas card simply containing "LOL", it would make a lot of money for a brilliant charity and be hilarious at the same time.
Cards can be purchased here shop.rnli.org/collections/ch…
Please spread the word.

Our charity exists to save lives at sea. Our mission is to save every one. Our lifesavers are compelled to help those in need without judgement of how they came to be in the water. They have done so since the RNLI was founded in 1824 and this will always be our ethos.

The facts behind our work in the Channel.
In 2024, our crews launched 114 times to Channel crossings – that's just 1.2% of our total launches.
Our core purpose is to save lives at sea. Anyone can drown, but no one should.

My workshops start at £10 & are a 💯💯 way to support me while learning to draw AND how creative activity lifts mood:

I had 3-4 weeks off Twitter with autistic burnout recently & my engagement is right down (also due to standing up to a vile group of trolls on here-they reported me lots, restricting my reach). If you see this photo it would be so ace if you could RT it or drop me a quick hello if you have a moment, both of which help an account get back on track. I also hope these little violas ping some floral dopamine in your meat computer & give you a small lift 🌿

Does anyone know why life saving air ambulances have to rely on funding from charities
But helicopters for the Royal Family are paid for by the tax payer?

Hey all! So as you all know, Dad (who is nearly 80!) was walking throughout May to raise money for Parkinson’s UK for people like my mum. He ended up walking 201 miles! The fundraiser window is still open for another five weeks, and I’ve noticed he’s about £33 off of raising £3k! Please can I ask that we all share/like or possibly donate to help him get to that figure! Thank you all so much! Xx events.parkinsons.org.uk/fun…

Maybe we’d build a healthier reading culture if people spent more time championing books they love rather than publicly humiliating the ones they don’t.
Not every book is written for every reader. That’s fine. But the constant sneering around “bad” books or mocking people for what they enjoy reading creates an atmosphere where readers feel judged instead of welcomed.
Reading for pleasure should never feel like a test.
In the National Year of Reading 2026 and the message to GO ALL IN, this matters more than ever. If we want more people to read, discover bookshops, take chances on stories and build lifelong reading habits, then enthusiasm will always achieve more than literary snobbery.

This would be an ideal time for @jdforward @haaretzcom and @JewishNewsUK to present opinion pieces from Black Jews, Jews of Colour and Jews in interfaith/communal relationships about nuances and potential opportunities for anti-racism coalitions and work in response to attacks.

Please sign & share the petition to unblock #swift nests at Milton Viaduct. It seems that shaming @networkrail may be the only way to make them do the right thing. Nest holes must be unblocked IMMEDIATELY. protectthewild.org.uk/swift-…

"Britain’s swift population declined by 66% between 1995 and 2022, largely due to widespread loss of nesting holes in older roofs and buildings"
So what does💔#NetworkRail do
They block their nesting sites, after traveling thousands of miles they are left with blocked nests
I’m just about to have a site visit with a Project Manager from @networkrail - I’ll be carrying our message loudly #saveourswifts #unblockthenests #ChapelMiltonViaduct

Physicist Brian Cox reminds us of a truth so profound it’s almost impossible to grasp: we are not just observers of the universe; we are a part of it that has finally woken up.
Every atom in your body; the carbon in your skin, the iron in your blood, the oxygen you breathe; was forged in the intense, ancient furnaces of dying stars. For billions of years, those atoms drifted through the cold void, only to find themselves, by some miracle of cosmic chance, arranged in a pattern that can think, feel, and dream.
As Carl Sagan famously said, we are a way for the cosmos to know itself. We are the means by which a universe of dust and gas suddenly starts writing symphonies, painting masterpieces, and asking where it came from.
It sounds unlikely, perhaps even impossible. But here we are, sitting on a small blue rock, having a conversation about it. And that might be the most extraordinary thing of all.
