I believe that Texas voting machines are rigged. I went with 2 others and all 3 of us had this problem, on separate machines. When we press the button for James Talarico, Ken Paxton lit up. We had to change our votes back several times before a vote for him would stick In Austin

Vote like your life depends on it! Vote 💙 👇 Yes, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA, signed July 4, 2025) is widely projected to increase financial pressure on rural hospitals and contribute to closures, service reductions, or conversions, though it builds on long-standing problems rather than being the sole cause. Rural hospitals have faced chronic challenges for years: low patient volumes, heavy reliance on Medicaid and Medicare (which often pay below cost), higher uninsured rates in some areas, workforce shortages, and thin or negative margins. Roughly 150–200 rural hospitals have closed since around 2005–2010, nearly half operate at a loss, and hundreds remain vulnerable according to groups like Chartis and the Center for Healthcare Quality and Payment Reform. What the bill does The OBBBA (also called the Working Families Tax Cuts Act) includes large Medicaid changes estimated by the Congressional Budget Office and others to reduce federal Medicaid spending by roughly $900 billion to $1 trillion over 10 years. Key elements include work/community engagement requirements for certain expansion adults (phasing in around 2027), more frequent eligibility checks, limits on state financing tools like provider taxes and state-directed payments, and other eligibility/administrative changes. These are projected to increase the uninsured population (by about 10 million overall in some estimates) and raise uncompensated care. Rural areas are particularly affected because Medicaid covers a large share of patients there (including nearly half of rural births in some data) and many rural hospitals already have high Medicaid payer mixes and negative margins. Analyses from the Cecil G. Sheps Center at UNC (prepared at the request of Senate Democrats) identified over 300 rural hospitals (around 338 in one count) at elevated risk of closure, conversion, or service cuts due to these reductions, based on factors like consecutive negative margins and/or high Medicaid reliance. KFF estimated roughly $137 billion in reduced rural Medicaid spending over the decade. The bill also created a $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program (2026–2030) as a political compromise to address rural concerns. Supporters call it the largest single rural health investment in years. Critics note it is temporary, goes to states (not directly as operating subsidies to hospitals), and has CMS restrictions—including a roughly 15% cap on provider payments/supplementation of existing care, limits on construction, and an emphasis on innovation rather than “propping up” perpetual operating losses. It is smaller than the projected rural Medicaid cuts and not designed as a dollar-for-dollar offset. Real-world effects so far As of late 2026, some clinics and services have closed or reduced with explicit citations of the bill (e.g., Augusta Medical Group rural clinics in Virginia; an obstetrics ward at a Georgia hospital). Full hospital closures have not surged immediately—one report noted Sturgis Hospital in Michigan as the only complete rural hospital closure in 2026—and some data show continued growth in Rural Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers. Layoffs and service cuts have been reported more prominently in places, and many hospitals remain on at-risk lists. Major provisions like work requirements are still phasing in, so larger effects are expected later. Hospital groups (including the American Hospital Association), researchers, and rural health advocates argue the Medicaid changes will raise uncompensated care, shrink revenue, and push already fragile facilities toward closure or reduced services, with the $50 billion fund insufficient or misaligned as a fix. Supporters and the administration emphasize program integrity measures, long-term transformation, and the new fund as addressing root sustainability issues rather than endless subsidies.

Obama will give Trump a stroke.
OBAMA: The president wasn't even mad. About The Saddam Hussein comparison. That part didn't bother him. But he was very upset about The Cheesecake Factory. He took great umbrage. He said I didn't understand the work of the artisans in the White House. They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke.

Hey @POTUS 👇🫵🖕
Now would be a good time to remind everyone of these Trump facts, because apparently some people still need the refresher. Please meet the President of the United States: Flew on Epstein’s plane at least seven times. Just friends, I guess. Pleaded the Fifth more than 400 times in a single deposition. Nothing says “innocent” like refusing to answer a single question about your own business. 34 felony convictions. A record most people would call disqualifying. And 91 criminal charges. Accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least 26 women. But sure, tell me again how he’s a great guy. 6 corporate bankruptcies. The self proclaimed greatest businessman alive somehow keeps running out of money. 5 draft deferments. Funny how the toughest guy in the room never actually showed up for duty. He said, "no thanks", when asked to serve his country. Speaking about McCain, Trump stated: "He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured." 4 criminal indictments. Not two. Not three. Four. 2 impeachments. A club of exactly one president. 2 of his own companies convicted of criminal tax fraud. Convicted. Not accused. Convicted. During the 2016 presidential election, Trump’s campaign orchestrated a televised Iowa fundraiser meant for veterans but directed the foundation’s money to boost his political campaign. The charity was used to buy personal items, including a $10,000 portrait of Trump. The New York State Attorney General filed a lawsuit in 2018, regarding Donald J. Trump Foundation, alleging a "pattern of persistent illegality" and self-dealing. The investigation found that Trump used the charity as a personal "piggy bank." The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The Eric Trump Foundation Controversy: This investigation revealed that the charity raised money under the guise of FUNDING THE ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL, but was allegedly charged over $1.2 million by the Trump Organization for using Trump-owned golf courses, shifting donor money meant for sick children back into Trump businesses. 1 fake university shut down. Trump's charities always involved cheating and grifting. HE AND HIS FAMILY ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO RUN A CHARITY IN NEW YORK He and his family are no longer allowed to run a charity in New York because the Trump Organization used the funds for Trump-owned golf courses, SHIFTING DONOR MONEY MEANT FOR SICK CHILDREN INTO TRUMP BUSINESSES. He was ordered to pay 2 million dollars for looting his own so called charity. Paid 25 million dollars to settle the Trump University fraud lawsuit because scamming people who believed in you costs money eventually. Ordered to pay 5 million dollars in the first E Jean Carroll sexual abuse verdict, then hit with 83.3 million more in the second. A jury said it twice so nobody could pretend it was a fluke. First president in modern history to increase the deficit every single year of a full term. Fiscal responsibility, apparently, was always just a talking point. Kept the debt to GDP ratio above 100 percent for his entire first term. Presided over the largest single day point drop in Dow Jones history at the time. So much for the guy who claimed to be a genius with money. Set the record for the longest government shutdown in US history in his first term at 35 days, then couldn’t resist beating his own miserable record in his second term with a 43 day shutdown, followed by yet another shutdown just months later. THE ONLY POTUS TO HAVE 3 GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWNS IN HIS TERMS. Added roughly 2.25 trillion dollars to the national debt in his first year back in office alone, pushing the debt past 39 trillion dollars. Somebody remind me who the party of fiscal discipline is again. Pushed through the largest defense budget increase since World War Two while the debt kept climbing anyway. Purged more than 300,000 federal employees in his first year back. Pardoned nearly 1,600 January 6 Capitol rioters on his very first day back in office, including Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy. Law and order, except when it’s inconvenient. At least 40 of those pardoned rioters have already been rearrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes since walking free. Shocking absolutely nobody. His family’s crypto ventures, including a meme coin and World Liberty Financial, pulled in more than 1.4 billion dollars in disclosed earnings while he sat in the Oval Office. Draining the swamp was apparently code for filling his own pockets. Sent the National Guard into American cities at a cost of nearly 500 million taxpayer dollars in 2025 alone, then BRAGS about lower crime. He has no long term solution - ever. He just sends in the military. The military seems to be his answer to everything. His own tariffs are projected to cost the average American household more than 2,500 dollars this year. YOU'RE PAYING FOR THIS. NOT CHINA. YOU! Got America involved in a forever war with Iran, though promised the exact opposite. Peace deal with Russia and Ukraine on Day One. He has continued to side with Putin and has never admitted that Russia invaded Ukraine - UNPROVOKED. Now sitting at one of the lowest approval ratings of his second term, stuck in the mid 30s while inflation and gas prices make everyday life harder. None of this is a conspiracy theory, a rumor, or something you saw in a group chat. It is the actual, documented record, sitting in plain sight for anyone willing to look. So the next time someone tells you to relax and give him a chance, ask them how many more indictments, judgments, and shutdown records he needs to rack up before that chance runs out. BREAKING: HAHA! Protester screams "F*CK YOU!" and FLIPS OFF Trump just FIVE MINUTES into his Ohio rally…and she’s the THIRD ONE so far! Wow, people are ANGRY… Donald Trump has been conducting a nightly tour of red states in which he tries to assemble increasingly shrinking crowds of his supporters so he can tell them about how much he likes men’s butts, and tonight was no different. But even before he could get to the meat of the matter, he was disrupted not one, not twice, but THREE TIMES in the space of five minutes. One yelled “YOU WERE ON THE PLANE WITH EPSTEIN!” Two of them flipped him the bird. These protesters were quickly and roughly removed, so Trump could get to his favorite subject: Jon Husted’s ass. “I was about to say that I was examining that man for his physical prowess, and I got it. When he stood ,I looked at him, I looked him all over the place, and I should have never said what I said. But I said I started by looking at his ass and it was strong as hell,” said Trump just a few minutes later. The protesters at Trump’s rapidly downsizing rallies – this one in Ohio is one of the smallest venues he’s ever spoken in – are increasing in number night by night, because they’ve figured out this is their moment. If you’ve ever wanted to scream something at Donald Trump and make sure he hears and sees you, this is the time to do it. Go to a Trump rally. Call him a pedophile. Anyone can do it! Every time he hears it, it bites him deeply on the inside, because he’s a narcissist and the most insecure man in the world. Let’s keep yelling at him until he’s out of office…and then keep yelling at him until he’s in a jail cell.

I love Grok! 💙👇 Repost please! 😁 Democrats are clear favorites to win the House and modest-to-moderate favorites to win the Senate, based on models, expert ratings, generic-ballot polling, and prediction markets as of October 28, 2026 (election day is November 3). House of Representatives Democrats are heavily favored for control (majority is 218 seats). •Model probabilities for Democratic control cluster in the 80–97% range: Decision Desk HQ ~80%, Call the Map ~83%, Poliwave ~87%, Scrutinel ~93%, Vote-Scope ~93%, Silver Bulletin (FLIPR) ~94–95%, and some independent models higher (near 97%). •Prediction markets: Polymarket and Kalshi around 91–93% for Democrats. •Projected seat counts commonly land in the 230–240 Democratic range (with ranges often spanning roughly 210–250). •Expert ratings: Cook Political Report has enough seats rated at least Lean Democrat for a majority even without toss-ups (after recent shifts toward Democrats); Sabato’s Crystal Ball has ~225 seats at least Leans Democratic vs. ~193 at least Leans Republican, with 17 toss-ups. •Supporting data: Generic congressional ballot averages show Democrats leading by roughly 7–9+ points. Senate Democrats are favored but the race is closer (they need a net gain of 4 seats for control, since a 50–50 split would be broken by Republican VP JD Vance; current composition is roughly 53R–47D-side including the two independents who caucus with Democrats). •Model probabilities for Democratic control are mostly in the 57–75% range: Decision Desk HQ ~58%, Call the Map ~57%, Poliwave ~58%, Election Lab ~60–61%, Scrutinel ~62%, PollCheck ~60%, with Silver Bulletin and some others higher (around 75%). •Prediction markets: Polymarket ~66–67% and Kalshi ~63–64% for Democrats. •Projected outcomes often center on a narrow Democratic majority of about 51–52 seats. •Expert view: Sabato’s Crystal Ball (as of Oct. 27) rates 49 seats at least Leans Democratic, 46 at least Leans Republican, and 5 toss-ups, and describes Democrats as having the inside track to a narrow majority (51 or 52). •Key competitive races (toss-ups or leans, mostly Republican-held) include Texas, Ohio, Maine, Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, and Michigan. Small Democratic leads in several of these are noted as being within normal polling-error range. Combined outlook The single most common simulated outcome across models is Democratic control of both chambers (often in the mid-50s percent range), followed by a Democratic House + Republican Senate. A Republican sweep of both is the least likely major scenario. The environment (Trump’s low approval ratings in the low-to-mid 30s, generic-ballot leads for Democrats, and economic concerns) favors the out-party in a midterm. Caveats: These are probabilistic forecasts from polls, fundamentals, and markets; close Senate races can shift with late polling error, turnout, or events. Early voting is underway in many places. Numbers can still move in the final days.

Why would he end a war that is making him and his kids millions?
“When will the war in Iran end? Whenever I want it to end." So much for the legal fiction that it isn’t a war. U.S. law and the Constitution prohibit the Executive branch from fighting a war that isn’t declared or authorized by Congress.
