Every day I wonder when Americans will collectively reach a breaking point with a system that views all of us as disposable and corporate profits as sacred.

Labour promised £14 billion for Welsh rail in February.
All we got today was a recycled announcement of £30 million towards Cardiff Parkway Station.
This isn't the step change we were promised by Burnham and it doesn't match the needs of the people of Wales.

£450m over three years sounds impressive until you look at the detail.
Wales would have needed a further £350m in 2027-28 alone just to avoid a real-terms cut to day-to-day spending.
This underwhelming Budget delivers the worst funding settlement for Wales in years.
“…the Welsh government was given shed loads of extra money last year.” — Torsten Bell, Labour MP
“Given”? People in Wales pay taxes. This is our money!
We help pay for vast projects in England like HS2, yet Wales is denied billions that could transform our own railways and infrastructure.
Westminster shortchanges Wales, then expects us to be grateful.
We deserve better. We deserve independence.

You are not Jewish, therefore there are no antisemites abusing you, just normal people schooling you in your ridiculous posts on a subject you clearly know nothing about, and news outlets had to school you on.

£450m extra to Wales…. Brilliant! That is if it was for 1 year.
This is for THREE years. 3.
Put that into context. Leeds station is getting £303 MILLION for renovations.
One station. £303m
One nation. £450m.
Labour robbing Wales yet again, 🥀

Remember that “well-known” individual who was seeking a High Court injunction to stop ITN and The Guardian from naming him and publishing serious claims about his conduct over several years, including sexual misconduct?
His lawyers argue publication could devastate him, citing two alleged suicide attempts, one in May and then again in July, on that occasion escaping from secure hospital to do so.
But the media’s barrister says the allegations are credible, supported by more than 30 first-hand sources, and strongly in the public interest.
The judge warned that allowing threats of suicide to prevent publication could set a precedent with almost limitless consequences.
The individual denies the allegations.
The case continues.

Fantastic interviewing from the BBC’s @sallynugent.
Imagine if Farage had got this kind of scrutiny and persistent questioning from UK media interviewers over the past decade? The UK might not be in the mess it is today.
Look how annoyed and uncomfortable he is.

Angela Levin is asking why Meghan Markle didn’t report her father to the US police.
Remember when Angela admitted to Louis Theroux that a nurse had told her Jimmy Savile was abusing disabled children, but she kept quiet and didn’t pass the information on to the investigation team or to the police?
