The sheer fucking hypocrisy surrounding Elon Musk is breathtaking.
For decades, billionaire-funded foundations have financed advocacy groups, political campaigns, legal organizations, and efforts to reshape public policy.
George Soros is one of the most prominent examples.
And somehow that influence is routinely presented as enlightened philanthropy.
Then Elon Musk enters politics, spends openly, challenges powerful institutions, and suddenly the entire establishment discovers the dangers of billionaire influence.
Give me a fucking break.
The man has built companies that launch rockets, connect the world through satellites, manufacture vehicles, and advance technologies with enormous implications for humanity.
His long-term ambition is to make civilization multiplanetary.
He has a profound personal interest in a future where technological progress remains possible.
You can disagree with his politics.
But pretending he’s just another billionaire looking for influence ignores the extraordinary scale of what he’s actually trying to accomplish.

CLEMSON - stat of the year contender🚨
The only team whose D/ST is outscoring their Offense
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

Look, I’m not saying I agreed with Lindsay Graham. I found his record of voting with Democrats occasionally appalling. But, I would see Lindsey in social circles when I lived in Charleston and hosted the Sweet Carolina TV show on CTN. I’ve interviewed him many times. I’ve bitched about him on social media. The one thing I do know about Lindsey is he would never hire a trans prostitutes. Lindsay rarely dated, but did go out with some notable women including Sonny Bono’s x wife. He was married to politics. He didn’t date men. That’s speculation. He certainly would not pay a trans prostitute. This is all hearsay and none sense. Don’t trust drug addicts. Stop buying into Democrat propaganda designed to hurt elections, the man is dead. He was very clean cut. He measured in his words carefully. He was very leery of people, men and women, trying to squeeze in. He didn’t like me all that much, but I can assure you he did not hire prostitutes. I didn’t like him all that much, but as far as his personal life goes that’s really nobody’s business. Stop making accusations with no proof @grok

Week 8 schedule quirks:
• Hawai‘i @ Northern Illinois is a conference game between schools separated by roughly 4,200 miles. Hawai‘i would have a shorter trip to Tokyo, Guam OR Mexico City!
• Indiana is going for its 1st win in Ann Arbor since 1967
• Virginia Tech visits Clemson for the 1st time since 2012 - incredible considering both have been ACC mates since 2004
• Texas Tech makes its 1st trip to Cincinnati
• Michigan State heads to UCLA for the 1st time since 1974 and plays in Pasadena for the 1st time since 1966
• USC visits Wisconsin for the 1st time since 1965
• Iowa State heads to Arizona for the 1st time since 1966
• Houston visits Utah for the 1st time since 1977
• Kansas State returns to Arizona State for the 1st time since 1989
• Oklahoma-Mississippi State meet for the 1st time ever

James K. Polk lost the race for governor of Tennessee twice in a row. But three years later, the comeback kid was President of the United States.
In 1844, the Democratic convention was deadlocked. Seven rounds of ballots, and they were no closer to picking a nominee.
But on the 8th ballot, someone put up Polk's name and by the 9th ballot, first dark horse in American history won the nomination unanimously.
The Whigs mocked him: "Who is James K. Polk?"
But Old Hickory's protégé beat their man, the famous Henry Clay.
In office he set four goals: Settle the Oregon border, cut the tariff, create an independent treasury, and acquire California and the Southwest.
He accomplished all four in a single term, added more than 800,000 square miles to the country and kept his promise not to run again.
The man who lost his own state's governor race twice, became the most effective one-term president in American history.

I love how messy SNL could be.
Like when Chris Farley broke up with an SNL staffer. Farley said, "Well, she may find somebody better looking than me, or she might find somebody richer than me, but she’s not going to find anybody funnier than me."
Writer Fred Ward had to break it to him; he was wrong, the staffer had just started dating Steve Martin.
