I welcome the Western Cape High Court’s order authorising the next steps in our court application concerning Knoflokskraal. This marks the first step in our efforts to restore the rule of law and address the unlawful occupation of this state land. The order allows us to serve and notify all affected parties, including through public notices and community announcements, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to engage with the legal process. We will not allow the illegal occupation of our land parcels to go unaddressed. We will pursue this matter through lawful, transparent and court-supervised processes to ensure that the rule of law prevails. Our application and supporting documentation can be found here: drive.google.com/drive/folde…

Renewing our commitment to turn South Africa into a construction site. 🏗️ This morning, following President @CyrilRamaphosa’s keynote address and the opening plenary by Cape Town Mayor @geordinhl, we announced eight priority projects selected for project-preparation support and released the new Infrastructure South Africa Construction Book at #SIDSSA2026. The eight projects represent a potential capital investment of approximately R57.8 billion, while the Construction Book sets out projects expected to enter procurement over the next 12 to 18 months. This is how we turn ambition into implementation: preparing projects properly, connecting them with finance and moving them into procurement and construction. #LetsBuildSA 💙🇿🇦
