On Twitter the people that threaten to kill you don't pretend to be empathetic good guys and there's a small chance they actually can
On bluesky, the people that threaten to kill you are proud of how empathetic they are and get social anxiety talking on the phone

If the Nazi party were still in power, and the Germans were to this day required worship Hitler, smoothbrains like you would write dumb little tweets like this celebrating that fact.

What is happening there?
Under “dictator” Mao, life expectancy in China increased by 30 years, literacy rates went from 20% to 70%, steel output grew from 1 million to 23 million tons, 47 million hectares of land was taken from landlords and given to peasants, and China was unified under a strong central state and got nuclear weapons.
Despite his failures, it does not take a rocket scientist to understand why Mao is revered in China.

Mao's Great Leap Forward and related policies caused an estimated 30-45 million famine deaths in 1959-1961 alone, with total excess deaths under his rule often estimated at 40 million or higher.

Sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. (And by "eggs" I mean "people," and by "a few" I mean "40 million or so", and by "break," I mean "cause to starve to death," and by "omelet" I mean "a shitty system that required Deng's market reforms to function").

I’m not. A lot of people died. A lot of people were killed. Brutal. But yet the Chinese largely respect Mao. Ask yourself why. Because there are many countries where they absolutely despise their strongmen or even put up museums to display the brutality of previous dictators. China is not one of those countries.

I voted Democrat in Ohio!
I'm supporting Sherrod Brown for U.S. Senate because he believes the rich should "pay their fair share."
I Googled some statistics to support my position:
Top 1% of earners: 38.4%
Top 10%: 70.5%
Top 50%: 96.7%
Bottom 50%: 3.3%
Me: 0%
Apparently, that's the percentage of all federal income taxes each group pays. Hmm. Could someone explain those numbers to me?
Anyways, I know I pay my fair share of taxes.
It's other people who do not.
The RICH need to pay MORE! 💙🗳️

I recently visited a house in Miami owned by a Heat player. (My client was the prospective buyer). The house was the scene of a bankruptcy in action.
The player was at the end of his career. Selling the house at a significant loss after just a few years of owning it. Important to note: Miami single family over $5M is one of the best performing segments of the real estate market here. He managed to lose money on a house in a market that shot up. Amazing.
Easily over $5M of cars in the driveway (I am not exaggerating). And three rooms full of mostly sneakers. Thousands of pairs. It was mind boggling.
The listing agent started to extoll the virtues of the driveway, saying how nicely cars fit. My buyer, who can buy the whole thing in cash, deadpans that he does not have a car.
The contrast was rather poetic, in a tragic sort of way. – at Fisher Island, FL

This Jussie Smollett-tier immigration hoax last year (the woman just pleaded guilty) is a fantastic example of the left's Narrative manufacturing industry
> Mexican illegal immigrant fakes her own kidnapping by federal immigration agents
> Lies about being taken to San Ysidro and being pressured to self-deport, more lies about being held in a warehouse
> She just happens to be a “community organizer” with a “racial and social justice” group (red flag ignored)
> “Community organizers” organize a press conference for media, there is a GoFundMe campaign of course
> Media obligingly covers and helps spreads the hoax and the left's Narrative (Olmos is an “investigative reporter” at CalMatters)
> Bass then gets to promote the media-generated Narrative with the desired tone: “No hearing. Just fear … This doesn't make anyone safer.”
And it takes a couple weeks for the truth to come out … but the Narrative outrage cycle did exactly what it was designed to do

I think Singal is representative of a lot of liberals in that he sort of concedes the necessity of immigration law in the abstract, but finds the actual act of deportation to be shocking and cruel unless it occurs under impossible to satisfy circumstances.
Immigration advocates make these circumstances impossible, in the same way advocates have made a clean death penalty impossible so what remains to be incompetently administered provokes public sympathy.

so your understanding of how this works is if the government thinks you defrauded the US and you don't have legal status here, you should be deported to a country you have no connection to and just dropped there with no money?
