Owner of Hostelle London, Bianca Brasdorp, says: ‘We are committed to providing an inclusive and safe environment where all women can feel welcomed and valued. This includes transgender women, whose presence enriches our community, we honor (sic) and affirm their gender identity, acknowledging their rightful place in this space.’
Has Bianca been living under a rock? Errr… hello… Supreme Court ruling… you can’t say something’s women-only and then let the men in… allowing males to share dormitories and showers with women and girls is a SAFEGUARDING FAIL!
Women who haven’t read the full website and turn up to find a male in their room have every reason to be angry at being deceived.
Do better Bianca. Or at least read the EHRC Code of Practice which is very clear on how to interpret the Law. Women-only really must mean women only. It’s the law.

It’s important that people know what happened here. Unqualified lunatic doctor goes rogue, hands out hormones et al to kids without telling their parents. Second doctor *whose job it is* to pass on safeguarding concerns passes on such concerns, plus her own. Result: second doctor investigated for ‘transphobia’, smeared, subjected to hostile 4-hr interrogation, mental health severely impacted, forced out of her job. Over the next few years all her worst fears are much more than confirmed. Many children suffer severe, irreversible & completely preventable harm, not bc of a ‘bad apple’ but bc of NHS culture

"case by case" is just shorthand for "no man will ever be refused".
The 'case by case' approach used by the LGFA when determining if a biological male can play @LadiesFootball is at odds with the principle of consent.
In order to protect the privacy of the trans-identifying male who has been granted permission to play, female players are not made aware when that player will be present on the pitch.
This means that women and girls cannot give free and fully-informed consent to the increased risk that will be imposed by such a player.
In a contact sport like Gaelic football, female athletes right to consent should be non-negotiable.

The employment tribunal between Dr Sarah Redvers and NHS Sussex has highlighted how regulators and the NHS collectively failed to stop prescribing of puberty blockers and hormones against national guidelines - for years - and how instead the person raising concerns was accused of transphobia and herself investigated.

One NHS Highland worker has been receiving a full salary and benefits for 17 years despite not having a specific job.
The health board refused to say what the worker had been doing for almost two decades and how much they had been paid.
Likely cost to the taxpayer is expected to be far higher with several public bodies refusing to disclose salaries for hundreds of the workers awaiting redeployment.
The story is all about him, the adult. Not about the baby who was taken from his mother as a newborn, and now has no mother.
Taking a child from its biological mother is a major intervention, not done lightly by social services. But this baby was made to be bought so it was built into the contract of sale. Is this something to be proud of?

"Proud" to have bought a baby on the open market like other people might buy a puppy. Except at least the puppy would have 8 weeks with its mother before it was removed from her.
“Inclusion” at @parkrun @parkrunUK means validating men who want to register as women, and ignoring the impact on women.
Parkrun policy is to confirm and celebrate their claim to be women. That’s not inclusion. That’s endorsing gender identity as trumping biological sex.
It’s not needed for inclusion. These men are welcome at parkrun. They can register as male, “another gender identity” or “prefer not to say”. Instead, parkrun has adopted transgender beliefs and built them into its policies.
In my last parkrun as a female, I ran in the women's 40-44 category. I lost out on 1st overall female to somebody who won a 3rd place trophy in the men's 30-34 category in last season's X-country. This is what parkrun's warm and fuzzy inclusiveness looks like. 🤷♀️🤯

A host of physical and mental health problems, a common solution sought: the child thinks they can escape all this misery by changing sex and becoming a different person.
The GIDS cohort was similar. Cass recognised the “diagnostic overshadowing” - ignoring everything else when trans was mentioned. Will the new NHS clinics fall into the same ideological trap?
None of these children was born in the wrong body. They’re in the only body they’ll ever have. That body’s sex cannot be changed, only damaged by medication it does not need.

Up until now, all the discussion about sex, gender identity and the law has been centred on the Equality Act 2010. No one is sent to prison for breaching this law. They can be penalised but not imprisoned
The Conversion Practices bill is different: it is a new CRIMINAL law
Good reporting here. This is a very damning sentence:
“Although Doyle at first denied to the tribunal he knew Hall before this, it emerged during the tribunal that he had previously had a number of mentoring meetings with the GP.”
The GP referred to in that statement, Hall, is the trans one who was prescribing the drugs to confused children, not the safeguarding one who was worried about it.
