As a man no, you wouldn't feel that a man in a female toilet or changing room is a threat to your safety or happiness. Why would you? Women on the other hand, do. How difficult can this be to understand?
I’m a gay cis man, and I support trans rights completely and without apology. I know what it feels like to live in a world where people have opinions about who you are and who you love. I know how hurtful it can be when people question your right to simply be yourself. I won’t pretend that means I understand what it’s like to be trans, but I don’t need to. I know what it means to want to be accepted, respected and allowed to live your life in peace. That’s why I find the way some people speak about trans people so upsetting. Behind every debate is a real person, with feelings, family, relationships, hopes and dreams. As a gay man, I don’t see trans people as a threat to me or my identity. I see people who deserve the same freedom, dignity and happiness that I want for myself. I don’t have to understand every aspect of someone’s life to stand up for their right to live it. And I certainly don’t believe that showing compassion for one group means taking something away from another. I’ve always believed that being able to live openly as yourself is something to be valued, not something to deny others. I refuse to believe that kindness, equality and basic human decency should be controversial. Trans people deserve to live without fear, shame or having their existence constantly debated. They deserve to be heard, respected and accepted for who they are. I stand with them because I know how important it is to be accepted for who you are. And because, at the end of the day, we’re all just human beings trying to live our lives and be happy. That really shouldn’t be too much to ask. 🏳️‍⚧️❤️

Very proud to be part of this documentary about the absolute madness of transgender ideology in Australia. So many harrowing stories told by brave people who simply refused to go along with an obvious lie. Everyone needs to know what is really going on:

'Male teachers have worked in girls’ schools for some time, it’s not a new concept.' Yep ... I went to a girls' school. There were lots of male teachers - including the odd one we found a bit creepy. But here's four things they never did: 1. Tell us they were women and that we had to call them 'Miss' 2. Publish an article in the newspaper about travelling abroad for a 'sex change' op and/or hold a raffle to raise money for it (1990s pre-internet version) 3. Use toilets, showers and changing facilities reserved for female staff or students - or claim they were entitled to do so 4. Supervise girls getting changed for PE or dance - or claim they were entitled to do so Had they done any of these things - or had there been even the slightest concern they *might* be - this would have raised serious safeguarding concerns. Now girls - and their parents - are told its 'unkind' to question what would once have been extremely concerning behaviour.

"How did this medical scandal happen?" asked the experts, as they referred to a mentally ill female GP as "he".

Jolyon is currently campaigning *against* the cancellation of an author he agrees with, and *for* the cancellation of one he doesn't. He's clearly a very principled man.
Jolyon's Good Law Project now harassing the Mayor's office because the Oxford Street lights will be Harry Potter themed and therefore trans-exclusionary.

"No formal training in gender-identity medicine" is missing the point. That's like complaining your lobotomist was self-taught.
NHS England accepted that Dr Sam Hall had "no formal training in gender-identity medicine" but argued that he'd "acquired expertise informally through self-study, experience" and "from talking with other gender specialists." This is what NHSE "accepts" for the treatment of vulnerable children. These children weren't being treated for colds. They were being given life-changing blockers and hormones for feelings that hadn't been explored. Cass is right. This goes much deeper than just one clinic. Full independent inquiry is needed now. Excellent reporting as always from @hannahsbee. thetimes.com/article/cfde7b4…

"I think it's fine because I think it's fine" isn't that great of an argument.
Imagine being an associate professor & assessing this badly written, ill thought out self indulgent drivel praise worthy... It drips with sexism Men with nice fake tits must be regarded as women & the bad 'terfs' who say "no he isn't" shamed

Cass justified the use of puberty blockers for kids enrolled in the PATHWAYS trial. The example she gave to the House of Lords was an 11-year-old who'd been transitioned by his parents as a toddler. Despite this being an obvious case of child abuse. Now she's wondering why "every system that should have protected children...has failed". But she's part of the failure.
🚨Hilary Cass has called for an independent inquiry into how Brighton GPs were allowed to prescribe cross-sex hormones to children as young as 12.“There urgently needs to be an investigation of why every system that should have protected children, young people, and indeed young adults has failed,” she told me. The employment tribunal between Dr Sarah Redvers and NHS Sussex has highlighted how regulators and the NHS collectively failed to stop prescribing of puberty blockers and hormones against national guidelines - for years - and how instead the person raising concerns was accused of transphobia and herself investigated. Dr Redvers sat down with me for her only newspaper interview about her treatment in a scandal which, Cass now says, “dwarfs” that of the Tavistock’s GIDS. Me for the Sunday Times… thetimes.com/article/cfde7b4…

Dr Hall is a woman. You can't half-arse your opposition to "trans" insanity. It's*all* bollocks.
Replying to @hannahsbee
There were constant protests outside the WellBN surgery, yet Dr Sam Hall was still allowed to continue. He privately shared with me his concerns about children as young as 12 'potentially taking their own lives' if he didn't offer 'support'. I told him offering puberty blockers was against my own principles and @BPS guidelines, to give him any media support. I changed surgeries immediately.

CASS: The PATHWAYS trial must be allowed to give puberty blockers to kids as young as 11 if they were socially transitioned as toddlers. ALSO CASS: There urgently needs to be an investigation of why every system that should have protected children has failed.

If people effectively accuse a safeguarding lead of being a lying bigot for doing actual safeguarding, they would also accuse her of “acting in a way that falls far below the standards reasonably expected of a person in their position” And that’s your healthcare carve out gone.

A group of women being beaten with trans flags. Funny how religions converge on the same endpoints, isn't it?
Just got forcibly kicked out of a Portland Thorns game because people were hitting my group with trans flags over our feminist shirts. Living in the upside down . @BrandiKruse

"case by case" is just shorthand for "no man will ever be refused".
The 'case by case' approach used by the LGFA when determining if a biological male can play @LadiesFootball is at odds with the principle of consent. In order to protect the privacy of the trans-identifying male who has been granted permission to play, female players are not made aware when that player will be present on the pitch. This means that women and girls cannot give free and fully-informed consent to the increased risk that will be imposed by such a player. In a contact sport like Gaelic football, female athletes right to consent should be non-negotiable.

Over a thousand doctoral dissertations in one year in educational leadership and administration? A doctorate is supposed to be a substantial contribution to theory or knowledge. Those aren't really doctoral dissertations.
Interesting article. At UCL, we still don't have access to Pangram to check student work, which seems crazy. 'I recently reviewed 1,191 doctoral dissertations from 2025 in the fields of educational leadership and administration. My research suggests that 35 percent of those dissertations were made up of more than a negligible amount — i.e., greater than 10 percent — of AI-generated text. Ten percent were more than 50 percent AI-generated... Before you protest — “AI-detectors are unreliable”; “they’re potentially biased against nonnative speakers”; “they can be tricked” — let me tell you that I used Pangram. It is not for nothing that Pangram has become the tool of choice for much of the internet, as a slew of peer-reviewed research has found that it achieves “near-zero” false-negative and false-positive rates, even against “adversarial” and “humanizing” AI software. I have used Pangram over the last year in my undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses and have found it (with additional safeguards and protocols) to be near-perfect in detecting students’ inappropriate use of AI in their writing. My ongoing study used 100 dissertations published before 2020 as a control; all came out as “100 percent Human” in Pangram.'

I am delighted, absolutely delighted, that Sarah Redver's case has been heard so well in court, and I look forward to the judgement. I was carefully following it while I was preparing with Anna Loutfi for my hearing in the Employment Appeals Tribunal. Our cases are very similar in that both revolve around formal safeguarding concerns being raised and then counter transphobia accusations being raised against us both. The big difference is that Sarah had a much better opportunity to demonstrate her case than I did mine. By contrast, I had no legal representation the first time round. This was not intentional and not due to lack of effort. In total I went to 9 different legal representatives covering lawyers and barristers at a total cost of nearly £10k, and they all told me either I had no case, or it was too complicated, or it was safeguarding and not employment, or what ever else they could think of. In addition, my union and insurance company both refused to back me. The main advice I got was that the Employment Tribunal representation costs could be up to £100k. I was running out of time and money, so I had to take the chance of representing myself. I got hammered the first day in court when the judge changed the basis of the pleadings, and so undermined everything else. Before the case, various people asked if I had a crowd funder and I told them I didn't want to start one with such negative assessments from legal professionals as that would be unethical. Partly to put them at rest, I opened a crowd funder but gave no description or request, other than to confirm my name and case. I didn't really expect to receive anything, especially with the economic shock from Russia's invassion of Ukraine at the time. I chose a £50k target simply because it was half of £100k. After I lost my case, I was deeply depressed and had mentally shut down, then £13k was kindly donated to my crowd funder. Not only did these kind donations get me going for the following appeals, but they broke me out of the deep depression I'd fallen into. Sarah Redver has spoken of the profound impact her case has had on her - I can empathise- we share this same brutal experience. We now both await our judgements, and between the two it's almost impossible to see how the transgender ideologues can continue grooming children into their cult if we are both successful. thetimes.com/article/cfde7b4…

A new hope for 'healing humanity'. Utter God complex. I remember seeing this poster around and fully realising how unhinged Pastor Sam Hall is.
Step forward the Church of England, hosting Hall after leaving WellBN last year. Is there anyone left in our institutions and professions that do safeguarding anymore?
