Local in this case means #Thatcham, #Newbury and surrounding areas. We use a range of testing tools to ensure accessibility, code wise at least, is as high as possible. Then there are other tools/methods used too.
We have been testing a few local websites (not originally created by us) for accessibility. Common issue is lack of Alt tag, contrast, aria tags missing, heading elements in wrong order - thats ignoring cookie issues! A few simple steps could resolve all...

Keeping an eye on your websites is essential, even just uptime. You could do so with an online service such as Uptime Robot ( uptimerobot.com/ ) or go self hosted with Kuma ( github.com/louislam/uptime-k… )

Business wise been updating/refreshing a lot of websites, this week got my personal site (@nickbits) to give a minor update to ready for @YestThatcham.

A recent(ish) job for a colleague, had an old PC and wanted to retrieve data from the Hard Drive as well as some ZIP and Floppy Disks. System had ISA, PCI and an AGP slot, but issues with HDD. Did manage to retrieve most of the data. Again please backup data, regularly.
