Hot take for the timeline: 2026 isn't the year AI games take over. It's the year we get the biggest graveyard of dead AI games in history. Building got free. Being fun didn't. The winners are going to look boring. They validate before they generate.
Enemy behaviour also uses machine learning systems.
Instead of predictable patterns, combat encounters feel reactive to the player.
