You can never be perfect at taking profits.
I took profit and it went even higher afterwards. Good for those who are still holding.
But once you take profit, the deal is done. Don’t sit there crying because the price went higher after you sold.
Sometimes you take profit and watch it keep pumping. Other times, you hold because you expect more, only for it to dip and leave you wishing you had sold earlier.
For instance, I just took profit on TMO, and that’s when the floor decided it wanted to go higher. 😂
Thankfully, I still have two more in my private wallet.

Finding Alpha in the Elysium Rush
Saturation is one of the reasons people struggle to cash in on opportunities. Sometimes, there are simply too many projects to look at, too many launches competing for attention and too many possibilities to explore in the hope of finding a winner.
With Elysium preparing to launch on Hype, we're already seeing quite a number of projects announce plans to launch their NFTs and tokens on the ecosystem.
No doubt, some of these projects will perform exceptionally well. There will be runners, unexpected breakouts and opportunities for early participants to make good returns.
However, with the growing number of projects, attention will inevitably be scattered. Finding the real alpha among all these launches could become increasingly difficult.
So, what will help you identify the projects worth paying attention to?
I think a few things will matter significantly:
1. Research: Digging into projects, understanding their fundamentals, teams, value propositions and what they bring to the ecosystem.
2. Information: Staying informed, following developments and gathering relevant information early enough to recognise opportunities before they become obvious to everyone.
3. Critical Analysis: Going beyond announcements and hype. Comparing projects, questioning narratives and objectively evaluating which ones have the potential to stand out.
4. Timing and Activity: Being active and keeping up with developments is just as important. Sometimes, identifying a promising project isn't enough. Knowing when to get in, when to take profits and when to exit can make a significant difference. A good project with poor entry or exit timing might not deliver the results you expect.
And finally, LUCK.
Sometimes, you can get your research right, have access to the right information, make sound analyses and even get your timing right, yet still miss the biggest runner.
Other times, a project that doesn't particularly look promising ends up doing ridiculous numbers.
That's the unpredictable nature of the market.
With Elysium, it won't necessarily be about looking at every project or jumping on every launch.
It will be about developing the ability to filter through the noise, identify where the real opportunities lie and position yourself for a potential winner, hopefully with a little luck on your side.
