Political Interference of the NPS? Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen at an engagement forum in Gilgil yesterday VERBALLY directed the IG and Nakuru police county commander over the transfer of Munanda Police Station OCS.
The CS, according to the constitution, has no powers to interfere with the daily operations of the NPS, and the IG cannot take orders, instructions, or directives from the CS unless they are policy-related and done in writing.
The IG is autonomous in making independent police decisions and therefore should not be seen to be receiving directives from the CS.

Here is President Lula on CNN saying that if Trump were a Brazilian and incited an insurrection like he did on J6, it would have been treated as a violation of the constitution and would have been sentenced to prison like Jair Bolsonaro who attempted to overturn the results of a peaceful election.
