Maybe listen to autistic people than wondering aloud

Every mention of SNAP being frozen should include this simple fact:
TRUMP is CHOOSING TO CANCEL FOOD ASSISTANCE. There are literally emergency dollars available to keep SNAP funded.

You don’t need to be “working” to have the right to food.
Our elders, our children and folks who are disabled and unable to “work”, all deserve to be fed.
Being deemed a productive person under capitalism will not assure you are sheltered, fed and safe. Challenge that always.

Oh heck no. Anti-vaccine disinformation is now making some owners refuse to vaccinate their pets against rabies.

Reminder that 37% of folks on SNAP are elderly and disabled, and oftentimes don’t have the ability to stand outside a food bank for hours and then carry it all home.
If you have a car, offer to give your elders and disabled neighbors a ride to the food bank.

It's deeply dystopian how AI has been billed as an app that will let you make endless videos of Pikachu when the real purpose of AI is mass surveillance in service of a police state. The tech industry has made entertainment the engine of our oppression.

There’s a whole lot of pneumonia normalizing going down in the mommy group.
‘My kids have it three times a year! Totally normal 🥰’
‘My doctor says it’s viral-induced pneumonia and kids are sick 10-12 times a year. Not to worry! Their immune system will get better. ❤️🩹’
NO.

Not sure why you wouldn’t wear a mask in a hospital. Ppl show up w practically the bubonic plague & they are leaning too far on your armrest while the lady across from you is dry heaving, & you just sort of look at your hands on your lap. Be safe, wear a respirator.

changing air purifier filters, seeing how filthy they are after just a few months, realizing how much gunk ends up in people’s lungs via unfiltered indoor air, and wondering why the heck air purification is still so niche

ICE exists as a white nationalist private militia with the goal of “whitening the land.” They wish to exploit and enslave, or get rid of those they label undesirable aka not human. It’s full circle.

The genocide in Sudan is beyond words
People are being slaughtered right now with UAE weapons in a proxy war to take control of land and resources while the world’s powers are silent
This is the worst of humanity: mass killing for power games
We have failed so miserably

Over 71 million Americans are paid less than a living wage, and are forced into social safety nets like SNAP.
If you think too many people are receiving SNAP benefits, don’t shame them.
Shame their employers paying them poverty wages and forcing taxpayers to subsidize the rest.

Masks are disability aids. Claiming ppl are ugly bc they have illness (chemo, heart stuff, lung stuff, autoimmunity etc) is sick.

imagine forcing people to give birth because you’re against abortions, only to throw them into a world where they have no food or real support. Are you really pro life or are you just a c*nt?

We're on day 28 of the Republican shutdown.
Yet, House Republicans are STILL on vacation, even as 3 million Floridians, 3 million Texans, and millions more, in red and blue states, will lose their food assistance next week. It's time to come to the table and end this shutdown.

It is a profound shame on humanity what is happening in Sudan. The genocide in Gaza has provided a cover for more atrocities and war crimes to be committed elsewhere.

In the next essay in our Color of Long COVID series, supported by @DisVisibility, Jermaine Greaves writes about how managing #LongCOVID taught him to breathe, have patience, and understand what he can and cannot do. bit.ly/45kLtXN
