I’ve been fighting @unibet for years over around a Ā£400 withdrawal. Here’s what happened I turned a Ā£10 casino bonus into around ~Ā£800, met the wagering requirements, and was left with around ~Ā£400 eligible to withdraw...

Regarding punting horses, which is all I can comment on, and must add it’s not every firm, but it’s got to be said chaps (bookies) it’s becoming like the Wild West re getting paid, youse are using a very thin line between compliance and out and out theft with people’s winnings, this is a classic saying but has stood the test of time ā€œit takes two to make a betā€ and can be called off if you both agree, but some bookies have taken welching to a new level. As many of you know I’ve been around a long time, and back in the day admittedly there was a few strokes pulled by punters ie slow count etc, but on the whole it was all done on massive trust, and it worked. But the stroke pulling has been flipped completely the other way, it is the bookies now pulling the strokes, being as I do speak to many in the industry on a daily basis I hear stories, sadly I’m simply not shocked anymore, it’s very sad that the industry I’ve grown up in is now letting itself down and I’m afraid to say in very embarrassing situations, the firms who I looked up to as a wet behind the ears young man with such envoy wishing I could have worked for them are basically stealing and even more sadder they appear to have no shame. I don’t want to mention names which was the reason my interview with @SimonNott was massively edited, due to me naming and shaming. But it needs to change chaps, senior members of staff who understand the facts of a bet need to speak with the people running these firms, who appear to have little knowledge of the integrity and trust you once had, that this is not how we should be doing it. Please don’t lose your honour, as an industry you’ve got enough to deal with, you/we don’t need it in the public domain court cases happening on a daily basis where you mainly settle on the steps of the court basically admitting your guilt. This game is unique in trust or it seems it was, it seems unbelievable that 20 yrs ago, that if you had a bet on the Monday and the horse got beat you’d get the bill two weeks later and you paid it or of course vice versa, now it seems if you should back a winner and you had the audacity to beat the SP which seems the ultimate cardinal sin, there will then be an investigation into your family tree, going over your election roll, looking through your Facebook account, or maybe you bought a dog from someone who had some puppies and someone who bought a puppy was once a winning customer whose been sacked, so you obviously put the bet on for them (not the puppy) so you then ask for their bank statements ( not the puppy of course) in the hope you can link them up thus giving you an excuse not to pay. You get my drift chaps. Don’t let yourselves down, believe me I know what I’m talking about it looks terrible on your part. Also I’m not talking from a personal experience , I’ve written this as a lad I know as been done for a few quid, the amount that won’t change either of the parties lives, and if anyone in one of these departments wants to justify these decisions then be my guest to reply, I doubt very much anyone will

Love this. I'll do two translations For idiots - indicates inefficiency at taking chances and playing well otherwise. So stop moaning For those who know football - Playing well and results inevitable if current trend continues #NFFC
Nottingham Forest are top of the league on expected points. On actual points, they’re 16th.

For people that don't understand xG, it's only representative, its not absolute. Consistently underperforming xG suggests things will revert to the mean. I.e. continue creating, and scoring is inevitable. If the xG drops off is when you should worry #NFFC

Well the schedulers have reached new heights today. Huge gaps between Hexham and Yarmouth followed by 5 mins gap to Curragh. And now we clash! Morons!

Affordability checks and AML actions need to cease on British gamblers The treasury rates money laundering as 'low' in gambling. The GC has weaponised it to reduce gambling participation The gambling commission should recognise this and decrease from punishing people for withdrawing their money and redepositing
IMO growing the pie should come from: 1. Genuinely frictionless affordability. 2. Modern promotion. This could be funded by a comprehensive levy across all online betting and gaming

People don't lose at sports betting because they can't find an edge... They lose because they can't handle losing. Winners feel exactly the same emotions as losers. Frustration. Urge to chase. FOMO. The difference? They've learned not to act on it.

Trading in Financial markets is the great leveller. I've taught thousands of people indirectly via Video Programs and hundreds of people directly in person via formal Mentoring Programs. Informally also at Investment Banks & Hedge Funds. There is a correlation between intelligence and results but not the way you think it works. There is a minimum IQ threshold of 90. If you're below 90 you're going to struggle. No matter what. There is no "maximum" IQ BUT ive found that over 130 weaknesses and blind spots start to become apparent. Over 140 they become much more pronounced. I've seen the smartest academic guys crumble and implode and struggle to even make money from the outset. Ive seen average IQ guys do very very well. Ive seen +1 STD guys become incredible traders. In my 30 year career, the sweet spot seems to be an IQ range of 110-125 with a consistent strong work ethic, no entitlement, an ability to stay objective, a focus on the numbers and never to be emotional / resentful. The 130+ guys need to learn how to manage their entitlement, work ethic and emotion, just like everyone else. But they find it more difficult. Why? because they've never had the harsh lesson of constantly being wrong and having to get back up repeatedly after being punched in the gut, over and over and over. A lot of them just can't accept it and retreat to their comfort bubbles where people tell them they're "smart" all day. .., and if you think im being resentful towards smart people think again. Im comfortably over 130 IQ. I had to learn all that myself over many years. Everyone has their own struggles in life and in trading. BUT in trading the patterns are very apparent and predictable as a Mentor when we encounter a new students personality and psychological profile. It is teachable. But there are limits. Assuming a minimum level of intelligence, the student has to overcome those limits themselves.

Please does anyone know of any job vacancies please? Social media manager roles, blog content, anything. I have a wife and two kids and I’m desperately in need of employment. Being self-employed, things can change in an instant and I need to provide for my family. I have applied for hundreds of jobs and I have constantly been messed about. Because of things changing dramatically, the stress is immense. Please help, I can pass over my CV.

Spirituality meets trading. This will be some deep shit for many, but the more you grasp this, the more you'll understand your trading. Because trading is all a matter of mind and emotions that cause your actions. youtu.be/hNGuS46GptM?is=Krve…

Forget the ideological argument over betting shops as Andy Burnham isn't going to abandon his populist sound bytes any time soon. There’s one Q that matters here - will higher MGD actually increase Treasury revenues once betting shops close and activity disappears? The answer is no. A tax that shrinks its own tax base is economically illiterate - and as Martin Cruddace says here, Horse Racing will be collateral damage.
šŸ—£ļø "Be careful what you wish for" Martin Cruddace, CEO of Arena Racing Company, joins Oli Bell on The Opening Show to discuss the Betfred St Leger, Doncaster Racecourse and governance of gambling in the UK. #TheOpeningShow | @olibellracing

I've just watched Harry Kane's replacement for England at the next World Cup. Delap has everything. Strength, pace, nice touch and an eye for goal. Bookmark it #NFFC
