I just cycled past a new build house that used to have an amazing old native #hedgerow It has been replaced with a wooden ranch fence & they have attached an insect hotel similar to this. The disconnect is huge. #BiodiversityCrisis #hedgerows

Not everyone appreciates the Dodder ‘greenway’ treatment and vegetation clearing. Bike lanes should NOT take away from our riverine corridors and wildlife. Bike lanes should take from roads, not nature. Lots of wildlife driven out of the Dodder. #Greenwashing 😭

Herculean efforts this morning from volunteers to collect and remove 200 bags of rubbish from a "swamp" blighting one of the tributaries of the River Dodder in Tallaght.
The Dodder Action Group says this is the largest single clean up it has ever done.
