It’s a major tactical error to focus attention on digital ID. The focus should be on its design—whether it is centralized or decentralized.

Yikes.
Carney and entourage drop $175,000 on airplane food during one international trip. Carney has spent about $1 million on airplane food since becoming prime minister. They live the high life. You pay the tab.

A three star general sitting in a diner in Arlington with notes he took from a classified report, reading them out loud to a reporter who was writing a book… think about that for a second. According to the internal investigation report Axios got its hands on, Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, the man running strategy, plans and policy for the Joint Chiefs, admitted to leaking classified information on Iran and Ukraine to two reporters at two different outlets over about a year, and a U.S. official says he acknowledged it on video after he failed four polygraphs. It started as early as June 2025, it ran through Signal, and when one of those reporters lost Pentagon access he just moved the meeting to the Silver Diner. Then there is the Signal thread about Iran that he says he deleted by accident… investigators don't buy that and neither do I. Now keep in mind the part the press is skipping. When Hegseth fired him, the Joint Staff put out a statement thanking him for 32 years of distinguished service, and according to a U.S. official it was acting Army Secretary Adam Telle's office pushing for that warm send off to limit the fallout. They pulled it once the full picture came out. So who exactly were they protecting, and why was the first instinct to polish the general instead of protecting the country he swore an oath to? Here is the reality. This is what institutional rot looks like up close, a man with stars on his shoulders who decided the press was his chain of command, and the report even says he admitted being one of the 20 officials quoted in a story trashing Pentagon leadership. Rank was supposed to mean something. Honor was supposed to mean something. He traded both for a few pages in somebody else's book. How many more of them are still sitting in that building? You already know the answer. DOJ has the referral. Charge him.
🚨 HOLY CRAP! The Pentagon's Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia — who was just fired by SecWar Pete Hegseth — has ADMITTED to leaking classified Iran and Ukraine intelligence to *two reporters* at two different outlets, according to an internal investigation report obtained by Axios AND SO THERE IT IS. Hegseth and Trump are PURGING the leakers! Now, PROSECUTE. He allegedly met one reporter at a Silver Diner in Arlington and read off notes from a classified report on U.S. aid to Ukraine ‼️ Officials also suspect he deliberately wiped a Signal thread with another reporter about Iran. Sylvia, the Joint Staff's top military planner, reportedly confessed on video after FAILING four polygraph tests The Pentagon has referred the case to the DOJ for possible prosecution. The media fearmongered when Hegseth started cleaning house, and now we know why he did it! @PeteHegseth did the right thing here. We don't want these people near our national security.

The EU’s original geostrategic goal was to pillage Russia and grab its resources for collateral. Having failed, the globalists now turn their eye to pillaging Brazil and Canada. It won’t work, as the U.S. is in the driver’s seat…desperation is setting in.

The purpose of the Russia Gate Hoax that Obama headed up from the US, wasn't just to destroy Trump's presidency, it also served to cover for evidence of criminality on Hillary Clinton's private server which she used to conduct official state business, as well as for illegal purposes. @BarbaraMBoyd from @PrometheanActn lays it all out. Good gawd our federal government is a total mess. Imagine convincing Canadians of numerous worldly threats with a 13 page document probably written by AI. Of course no bureaucrat wants their name associated with this. The real threat to Canadians is its own government.
The federal government will beef up Canada’s intelligence-gathering capabilities and "prepare for all contingencies up to and including war" under a new national-security strategy that says protecting sovereignty now requires building "strategic capabilities" in eight sectors from critical minerals to defence and emerging technologies. The Plan for a Stronger Canada, released Thursday, is the first national-security strategy from Ottawa in more than two decades. Only 13 pages long, it’s a framework guiding the development of five new detailed national policies for defence, foreign affairs, economic security, public safety and intelligence. A new foreign policy will be released in about one month with others to follow, the government says. Senior officials at a briefing Thursday said threats facing Canada are increasingly complex, ranging from climate change, terrorism, pandemics to cyberattacks, cutting-edge artificial intelligence and the increasing possibility of a major war. The Globe and Mail is not identifying the officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. Officials did not say where specifically war might break out but some European leaders and military commanders have said that by 2029, Russia will have the capacity to attack another North Atlantic Treaty Organization country. theglobeandmail.com/politics…

In my Substack analysis at rwerner.substack.com I show how exactly the Bank of England toppled a sitting Prime Minister. Ex-PM Liz Truss deserves all credit for her courage to battle the unaccountable central planners & not being intimidated by their vast but covert powers.
Former UK PM Lizz Truss says unelected central bankers wield more power than democratically elected world leaders. She attributes the pound's "massive inflation" and devaluation to money printing by the Bank of England, which she describes as "completely unaccountable". "The Bank of England governor can't be sacked, as I found out, but the prime minister can be." "Why do you think young people can't get on the housing ladder? Again, it's because of the actions of this organisation, and yet nobody will hold them to account."

I am a "conspiracy theorist". I believe men and women of wealth and power conspire. If you don't think so, then you are what is called "an idiot". If you believe stuff but fear the label, you are what is called "a coward".

I'd be overseeing the scrapping of the Basel approach to bank regulation, the re-introduction of national currencies and sensible quantity of credit policies, which includes moving to a fast and low-cost registration system for new banks that lend for business investment. As I'd oversee the creation not destruction of thousands of banks, I'd deliver double-digit economic growth.
The ECB should give the top job to Richard Werner (@scientificecon), the most consequential economist on the planet since Milton Friedman. This won’t happen of course because they aren’t serious about fixing their horrendous economic problems.

A fifth generation war is underway between the European globals and the American Sovereigntists. The prize….the plumbing of the new monetary/economic system. Has the first scalp been delivered…are the Americans are in the drivers seat?
Congratulations to Christine Lagarde on her extraordinary leadership of the European Central Bank. It has been my pleasure working with her through some of the most consequential moments of the past two decades. She has been a tower of strength and humanity in every role she has held. I know her service will continue long into the future. And while she has more than earned the much-needed break she deserves, I know that many, myself included, will continue to turn to her for advice and counsel.

Climate change is just the grift by which billions are siphoned out of the public treasury by the corrupt elite. Is it not obvious by now!
“The future of trade does take carbon into account, Carbon is trade” Carney and Ursula over the next several days will introduce their plan to soak businesses, industries and their citizens out of even more money & it will all be under the guise of “fighting the climate” CBAM will make life less affordable, but Carney will claim it’s making businesses “more competitive” These are not good people.

Do defenders of DEI really believe their claims that it is not discriminatory or do they just lie for “social justice.”

This is signal! The EU nonsense is noise.
Observation of the day. Bank of Canada hikes into a weak economy. The next day, employment data comes out. Close to 50K in job losses and the previously reported number revised from 26k to -16K Canadian MSM ignoring this. No one is reporting it. As well as the BOC acolytes on Bay St.

Macklem’s Incompetence: Fighting the 1970s, Punishing Canada Today The Bank of Canada is hiking into a negative growth shock because it fears an inflation problem its own underlying data do not establish. This is not prudent risk management. It is incompetence dressed up as vigilance. Trimmed CPI inflation is 1.8% and declining. Employment is contracting. Even the Bank’s own statement puts inflation excluding gasoline at 2.2%, core inflation close to target, and longer-term inflation expectations firmly anchored. It acknowledges excess supply and expects new American tariffs to slow growth. Yet Macklem is raising rates because higher energy costs might eventually spread through the economy. The distinction matters. Higher oil prices squeeze purchasing power; tariffs impair production and trade. Higher interest rates cannot fix either problem. They can, however, compound the damage by weakening spending, housing and investment. Macklem is responding to an external cost shock by imposing an additional domestic demand shock. Second- and third-round inflation effects are risks to assess, not facts to assume!!! With underlying inflation subdued, jobs contracting and expectations anchored, the burden of proof lies with the central bank proposing to tighten. Its statement does not meet that burden. Macklem increasingly resembles a Davos technocrat intellectually trapped in the 1970s: invoking the dangers of an inflationary spiral while discounting the weakness in front of him. The spectre of that decade has become a substitute for judgment. His incompetence lies in that misdiagnosis. Hiking into a negative growth shocks leads to an avoidable recession. He is making Canadians pay higher borrowing costs today to insure against inflationary spillovers that have not yet materialized broadly in the data. A central bank should respond to evidence, not force today’s economy into yesterday’s cautionary tale. Yes it’s true: Tiff Macklem is worse than John Crow. The worst governor of the Bank of Canada in modern history.
