Tonight, British Columbians chose a new direction.
We’re doing this for our sons and daughters. For the future they deserve and the province we owe them.
Thank you, British Columbia, I won’t let you down.

Hey B.C. Voters, I figured you should know what you’re getting with PC Leader Lorne Doerkson:
Years ago, I was living in a cabin and every pipe froze. He, his wife (and new baby) took me in on the spot. Wouldn’t accept rent. That’s who you’re voting for.

Thank you, Port Coquitlam.
I am deeply humbled and grateful for the trust you have placed in me once again.
I love this community, I believe in its people, and I have never taken for granted the privilege of working on your behalf.
To everyone who supported me, volunteered, knocked on doors, put up a sign, or simply offered a kind word along the way, thank you. And to those who voted differently, I want you to know that I work for you too. Every single person in Port Coquitlam deserves a Mayor who listens, works hard and puts their interests first.
I’ve always believed that public service isn’t about titles or political ambition. It’s about people. It’s about doing what’s right, even when it isn’t easy. It’s about respecting the people who work hard every day, raise families, contribute to their communities and simply want a fair shot at a good life.
Those are the values I was raised with. They’re the values that have guided me as Mayor, and they always will.
We live in a time when too many people are losing confidence that government understands their struggles or is capable of making their lives better. I believe we can restore that confidence. Not through slogans or empty promises, but through hard work, competence over ideology, and results people can actually see and feel.
That’s what we’ve worked to demonstrate here in Port Coquitlam. And it’s what I intend to keep doing.
Tonight, I’m grateful for this strong vote of confidence from Port Coquitlam. I’m grateful for my family, grateful for this remarkable community, and grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the people and the place I love.
Thank you, PoCo.

Dave Eby’s NDP Ministry of Health oversees BC PharmaCare, an income-based program he calls Fair PharmaCare. I don’t qualify as a senior so I pay 100% for my prescriptions, while Eby receives a government-paid plan and $10 daycare. Is this fair? It sounds like a war on us?
"We certainly didn't need that discount..."
Pressed on whether his family took a tax write-off for donating their $10-a-day daycare savings, Premier @Dave_Eby defends using the heavily subsidized service.

In August alone, BC lost 26,000 full-time jobs. Twenty-one lumber mills have shuttered since 2023. Housing starts are down 42%. The NDP has run up a record $13.8 billion deficit, triggering eight credit downgrades, and raised taxes more than forty times.
BC can't afford more of the same. A new Conservative government will get BC building again.

Ole Premier @Dave_Eby is running the most unique campaign I’ve ever seen.
He’s literally running against himself by pretending he’s in the opposition & ready to fix everything the gov’s messed up over the last 9 years.
Truly an amazing tactic, even more amazing if BC voters buy it. #BCElection

Heck pediatric cardiac surgeons - we have 2 of them for the entire province. They work their asses off. You loose 1 or can’t replace one at retirement and we are in a lot of hurt. Getting votes by demonizing hard working people has lost any remaining support I held for some of the NDP policies. I don’t like the alternatives but I can’t support this insanity.

This will have such a negative impact on being able to recruit entrepreneurs and top talent to BC. You can’t recruit sub specialist physicians with a 57.5% income tax rate without then turning around and paying them more tax dollars. This is such a nutso plan.
NEW - @Dave_Eby proposes to raise income taxes on top two brackets by 2 percentage points, to generate $1b in extra revenue for BC.
• $190,405-$265,545 will go from 16.8% to 18.8%
• $265,545-$1m will go from 20.5% to 22.5%
• New $1m+ tax at 24.5%
Come get your boy #Eby

Anything Eby announces now is something he didn't believe was important enough to do with a majority government.
He is desperate.
He is an opportunist.
He can't be trusted.

Insane. Tax hikes for condo developers, tax hikes for out of province owners of real estate, going after oil companies and grocers. He has gone full on Mandami. BC is finished economically if they re-elect this guy.
Today in Kelowna I committed to taking on the grocery giants to protect your family from rising costs.
Big grocery chains have been using inflation as cover to jack up prices, while the billionaire families behind Loblaws and Save-On grew their wealth by $4.4 billion last year alone.
My plan:
1. Cap corporate profits on milk, eggs, butter, cheese, chicken and turkey
2. Stop them from blocking new grocery stores
3. End shrinkflation with clear unit pricing
4. Ban surveillance pricing
5. Give local grocers a fair shot with a new food terminal in the Lower Mainland
The conservative parties won't stand up to the grocery giants. I will.
Let's keep building BC strong.
