Many people who live in Toronto actually like Toronto and are proud to live in Toronto and want a Mayor who also seems to enjoy our incredible city while acknowledging ways we can all work together to help make it better. Brad’s negativity isn’t working. #topoli

Wait til the OLP find out how we ended up with Brad Bradford in the first place! #EndorsementsMatter #BeachesEastYork #BEYDeservesBetter #topoli
I’m sorry, but if you’re involved in the OLP or LPC and have decided to enthusiastically back Brad Bradford, I’m going to have a very difficult time taking your professed political principles seriously šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

You wouldn’t promote someone without checking their references, right? Brad Bradford has 109,000+ references: his Beaches-East York constituents. And, overwhelmingly, they are warning the rest of Toronto away from this absentee, unresponsive, ineffectual candidate. #topoli

This is true. Same as what Brad’s mentor, John Tory, used to do to pretend he was freezing property taxes! #topoli
Replying to @GraphicMatt
Chow says Bradford's property tax freeze isn't actually a freeze because he's going to keep the 1.5% city building levy. "Tell the people here tonight that it is not a freeze, and that you are going to borrow a whole lot of money — max out on the credit card," says the mayor.

Stan Cho has never, to my knowledge, shown any proof that he reimbursed Ontario taxpayers for the thousands and thousands of dollars of our money he chose to spend on luxury downtown Toronto hotels, nor ever explained why he chose to stay downtown vs return to his home nearby!
NEW - The Premierā€˜s office releases an updated list of parliamentary assistants. Notably, Stan Cho is named parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Education. Cho resigned as Minister of Tourism Culture and Gaming in July amid a scandal over hotel expenses.

Very interesting thread here about Brad Bradford’s water plans for the City of Toronto from an Economics professor at U of T.
I've generally avoided commenting on the municipal race in Toronto, but this claim touches a nerve. Bradford's approach is pretty much the opposite of financially reasonable, taking a tight budgetary situation and dramatically worsening it on both the expenditure & revenue sides.

A nice patio close to home that I could walk to with my family? A local small business we could support? Meet up with friends for brunch or a drink after work? This actually looks amazing! Would love Mayor Chow to bring more of these to our communities!!

ā€œThis will still be the most financially responsible and conservative government on the continentā€ says mayoral candidate Brad Bradford. I mean at least he has finally completely abandoned any pretence of being a progressive politician. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Did you know that Paul’s Ministry has offered Ontario families $100 a month in gas cards to drive their kids to school because he didn’t organize enough school busses for them? Seems like getting kids from their home to their school is a pretty important part of education?
Every parent wants to know their child is safe on their way to and from school. It's a peace of mind we want for every student, in every community. From kindergarten to high school, student safety is everyone's responsibility. This School Bus Safety Week, I remind all drivers to slow down, stay alert and take extra care around school buses and school zones throughout the school year.

It says a lot about mayoral candidate Brad Bradford- a renowned flip-flopper who abandoned constituents years ago in search of more power- that so many people saw this video and thought it could be AI. Inauthentic, slick, staged. It all tracks.
If we want to change the city, we have to change the mayor. Vote on October 26 to get Toronto unstuck.

Brad’s campaign apparently uses an AI app, and he seems to support AI data centres in Toronto. There’s a weird glitch at 20 seconds when he says ā€œvoteā€. It’s so quiet despite being filmed at King and Yonge! So was it any surprise that people started to question this video?

What was a surprise to me, a Beaches-East York constituent of Brad’s for 8 years, was how quickly his team responded. 1. Minute. Later. Meanwhile, constituents- the people he was elected to serve- have waited days/months/years for Brad to reply to issues in our community!

A beautiful pride flag created by students at a local East End school was set ablaze earlier this year. The community rallied around them and the school, with support from Mayor @oliviachow and Councillor @PaulaFletcherTO, created a new rainbow crosswalk šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ šŸ’• #ShowLoveTO

The man has been on city council for 8 years. Can one of his supporters please share the council motion he made about this? Maybe during the time that John Tory, his mentor, was Mayor?
The City told runners to take the TTC. But the subway didn’t open until 8 a.m…the same time the marathon started. As mayor, I’ll start subway service at 6 a.m. on marathon day and require advance transit plans for major sporting events and concerts. On October 26, vote for a city that moves.

Bradbros are so funny because the truth is the man couldn’t even be bothered to fix simple things in his own riding- a driveway, a fence, speedbumps- or respond to the needs of his current constituents, yet they want us to believe he’s ready to serve 3,000,000+ Torontonians?
Toronto Sun Editorial: Brad Bradford our choice for Toronto mayor There's no magic bullet to fix Toronto's problems overnight, but what's needed is a mayor ready to point the city in the right direction. In our view, Bradford is that leader. torontosun.com/opinion/edito…

We've seen time and time again how Doug Ford refuses to use data and facts to guide decisions. Reporting by @dmrider in today's Star shows how Ford's own government warned that removing bike lanes "leads to less safe roads for cyclists and pedestrians." thestar.com/news/gta/doug-fo…

The last time Beaches-East York had a chance to vote for our absentee councillor Brad Bradford in a mayoral race, he came in 6th in our riding. In his home poll, where his own neighbours were given the chance to vote for him, Brad got 3.4% of the vote. Vote wisely Toronto.

ā€œA clear mandateā€? Was this an election promise in February 2025? Was there a ā€œrip out or keep bike lanesā€ referendum that I missed? Wasting millions of taxpayer dollars to remove bike lanes when there is no data to suggest this will improve congestion. That’s @fordnation logic
Work to restore vehicle lanes on Bloor Street West was scheduled to begin tonight but was halted by protesters. Make no mistake: these bike lanes are coming out. We have a clear mandate and we will deliver.

DYK: There are two candidates with the same last name Chow (Braeden and Olivia) and two candidates with the same last name Yohannes (Henoke and Leila) in this year’s Toronto mayoral race. Make sure to check your ballot carefully when you vote on October 26! #topoli #TOVotes

It’s wild to pretend you’re the ā€œchangeā€ candidate when you’ve actually been on council for 8 years, and worked for the city for 3 years before that. Brad Bradford has a publicly-available voting record from his time at City Hall. His supporters hope you’ll forget this fact.
Brad Bradford pops in for a photo op at the Daily Bread Food Bank — just blocks away from the shelter he voted against. #topoli
