You liberals stand for fucking nothing & remember even less. Just two fucking years ago, you were invoking trans people’s safety as a reason to vote for Holocaust Harris & look at the shit you’re saying now. You are fucking nazis.

Anyone who calls being against genocide a “purity test” is straight up evil. If you can’t stand up to genocide as a representative, you definitely won’t stand up for your constituents.
AOC TELLS THE LEFT TO ABANDON PURITY TESTS, LIKE GAZA Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez built her political career challenging the Democratic establishment, promising a new era of progressive politics and accountability. But a New York Times profile portrays a politician increasingly embracing party alliances while encouraging the left to move beyond ideological “purity tests,” almost gaslighting her supporters. Among the scathing rhetoric is how divisions over Isr*el's war in G*za and the g*nocide are portrayed and diminished by AOC. To many of her critics and supporters, it seems that questions about P*lestinian rights and accountability are being dismissed as political obstacles rather than fundamental principles. AOC's own voting record has fueled those criticisms. In 2021, she voted “present” rather than opposing an additional $1 billion in funding for Isr*el's Iron Dome mis*ile defence system. In 2025, she voted against an amendment that would have eliminated roughly $500 million in Iron Dome funding, arguing that defensive systems should be distinguished from offensive weapons. The Democratic Socialists of America even withdrew its national endorsement of AOC in 2024, citing disagreements over P*lestine and her failure to meet several conditions, including opposition to all military funding for Isr*el. Although AOC has since pledged to oppose all future U.S. military aid to Isr*el, including Iron Dome, her evolving positions continue to raise questions about the relationship between progressive movements and the political establishment, especially when progressives like her, Zohran Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayed, seem to be moving closer to establishment politicians like Obama. As both major parties face criticism over corporate influence, foreign policy, and their inability to deliver meaningful economic change, voters are left wondering if this even matters, if anything will fundamentally change. It appears not much has.

that isn’t harm reduction lmfao. one of the most misused phrases in recent memory. harm reduction has to do w/substance use, not voting between different genocidal imperialists who will use police to protect the state & the corporations 😂
Are you saying Americans shouldn’t try to do harm reduction by voting for the slightly less evil people, or just that they shouldn’t act all smug about it?

Trans flag in username & "fuck TERFs" in bio but sayin stuff like this, kinda ironic that Harry Potter became a symbol against shit due to the author bein a TERF herself bc some ppl really need that sorting hat to figure out what house they belong to
Many Trans leftists want to feel like hated when in reality a lot of people don’t hate you. They just believe biological sex matters. If someone supports your right to medical transition, employment, housing but not sports they don’t hate you. They just don’t buy that you are exactly the same as a cis person. You can’t demand ideological purity from voters.

Apparently marginalized people must vote Democrat to prevent harm, but are expected to stay quiet when Democratic candidates concede to and normalize anti-trans rhetoric. Their marginalization seemingly only matters until acknowledging it inconveniences the party strategy.
I'm sorry I'm just done taking these people seriously. I'm fighting for trans people's right to exist not the trans puppy girl commune. He fucking turned Texas blue while openly supporting trans people this is not the time to be purity testing him.

It’s not that they’re not reading the room. 80% of dem voters supported an isr arms embargo as of years ago. Incredibly popular policy like Medicare 4A are still being dismissed and just now resurfacing among a few electeds They keep saying they don’t give af what people want
Ro Khanna says Hakeem Jeffries is going to be Speaker just now on MSNOW. That itll be unanimous in the prog caucus. Man these politicians are not reading the room. “A pretty historic moment. The first African American speaker. We have ideological differences that we’ll work out.”

"The people want the first Black Speaker." No. The people want life to not be a fucking constant struggle. The "firsts" all mean fuck all if they are upholding white supremacy, imperialism & capitalism. The oppressed having a seat at the table with the oppressors isn't progress.

Yup. The desire to oust Chuck Schumer, but not Hakeem Jeffries makes no political or pragmatic sense. Both men are AIPAC-bought; corporate-first; pro-ICE; anti-Med4All Dems w/super-low favorability ratings of 24% & 28%. There is no substantive distinction between them.
I’m sorry, but everyone focusing on ousting Schumer, including AIPAC Cory Booker, suggests to me that Schumer is being held out as a sacrifice to make it look like progress is being made when, in fact, he was on his way out anyway. I’m highly suspicious of those who are all in on ousting Schumer but silent on Jeffries.

All the replies saying THATS MY KING! That’s right tell Fox News they are faux news. 😒 this is why I hate Mamdani. He has his followers supporting funding Zionists, turning away from abolishing ICE, from even just defunding police.
"Get rid of borders?" "No." "Get rid of SCOTUS?" "No." "Get rid of jails?" "No." @ShannonBream fires off a series of questions to NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani about the Democratic Socialists of America, an organization he proudly says he belongs to. After Mamdani rejects all three proposals, Bream asks whether the DSA will kick him out. He answers "No" again, this time with laughter. Watch the full @FoxNewsSunday interview this Sunday at 2 P.M. ET on Fox News Channel.

It’s funny how these DSA electeds will say “Tisch” but not name the person who appointed her, lmao. Awkward!
Tisch’s “public safety” strategy: Go to most disinvested areas, ticket people for being poor. When they can’t pay fines, issue warrants. Then say, “Look we’re catching all these dangerous criminals with arrest warrants.” This is broken windows policing. gothamist.com/news/south-bro…

Yeah folks that organize in red states know how dangerous and unnecessary concessions to right wing framing are. People inculcated in liberal cultural hubs are barraged with people in power they think are well-meaning making those very same concessions and points
Y'all ever notice that leftists in red areas refuse to concede an inch to right wing talking points. Yet talk to those in progressive areas and you'll get "maybe you should give up on trans kids in sports, so the Democrats stop being brought down."

We really don't learn. We get drawn into the same antics with these political figures. We still pay more attention to the image; to how things look as opposed to for what they really are. Identity politics are nothing but a scam and pure performativity. In this neoliberal age of marketability, cultural markers and aesthetics trump all else; especially when it comes to ethnic background. Obama, AOC, Zohran and now AES. They know what sells. They know what slang to drop and when; what to refer to; what to wear; and how and when precisely. None of it is by happenchance. Everything is planned out based on hours of deliberation and analysis; curated, perfected and then executed. Everything they do or say is processed and packaged for you as the audience to consume. These politicans are products; characters manufactured to serve a far larger narrative than what necessarily meets the eye. They understand that the aesthetics they deploy, whatever they may be, are the most valuable currency they can exploit as part of the spectacle they create in an image-based society where optics outweigh everything of substance including material conditions or policies. What makes the liberal/ democratic establishment so exceptionally dangerous is how it persistently shows it will consume all dissent and resistance against this system— undermining it, co-opting it, repackaging it— then selling it back to us as radical, when in fact all it does is maintain that same hierarchical structure of dominance. I fear AES is another tool like many before him, to not in fact shake things up (as he will lead you to believe), but for you to buy back into a system and culture so many are yet again losing faith and trust in. The system cannot dismantle the very harm that it itself produces. So it blunts that which does threaten to undo it. Sure, the Republicans are just as dangerous, but they tell you where they stand and you know what you're up against. But these guys are operating on a different level of deception and trickery. They know how to play a part and how to convince you. About how they really care about you or how they're really on your side. But the liberal establishment does the same thing everytime. They will watch as their inaction and deception angers their supporters. They will watch the frustration boil over until that rage churns out a figure who channels that frustration for the disillusioned populace. They understand the threat that individual poses; so they attempt to first discredit them; before intimidating and coercing them into abandoning their position. When this does not work, they embrace them. Not their policies/ ideas, just the individual figure. They hallow out that radical substance in policy that they are threatened by, and repackage it to present you the mere aesthetic. That is all they care about. The empty veneer. The spectre. The carcass. Not what's inside. They only care about the optics and the image; the potential of what can be sold. Not actual dignity or liberation for Palestinians, but the keffiyeh design displayed on some Air Max on a podcast recording stage to rapturous applause. They make you think that that is the achievement. Nothing of actual material gain or progress. Just an aesthetic. Everything is pure theatrics and marketing. The hope. A dream. A vision. Nothing substantive. Nothing real. No actual road map or concrete plan to address the issue at hand; never confronting or willing to address the problem at the root level. Just the potential to make you think that that person or that plan will mean something; that that political figure or their ideas will do something. They just have to make you believe in that person so much so as you go and vote for him. That's their bottom line. To get you to the ballot box. That's what they're looking at AES as— a new vehicle to carry them forward. Just as Zohran was coopted, compromised and now is utilized to serve a particular agenda whilst feeding a particular narrative. Allowing the party to tap into and gain the support of those who voted for him. The campaign/ platform they ran on given the mass popularity, offers a blueprint to what will gauge disillusioned voters back towards the party. That they say all the right things. That they go just far enough. That is all useful for the establishment to feed off of to consolidate their own positions. For now. It's all useful ammo for the Dems to load up in their arsenal until they can take back the White House; just as they did with taking Congress- channeling the very real disillusionment by banking on people's hopes that they will change things. Taking that frustration, that rage and that hope and turning it into votes. Gaining a victory. Before going back to not doing anything. Obama didn't call Zohran last summer because he loved his agenda so much; he called him out of fear. When Obama endorsed AES and campaigned with him, it wasn't because he loves and supports his message. No. It's because the Democratic establisment become fearful of the potential these figures attain and the people power they come to carry which may threaten the top brass' and actually force them to shift their policies towards meaningful alternatives/ change. They send an Obama to coopt and redirect those campaigns; offering credibility and legitimacy with the party in exchange for concessions. Either they've already succeeded in compromising AES or eventually will turn him into yet another establishment stooge by offering him more power/ influence/ resources etc. Let's see.
Abdul El Sayed just joined the pod save America podcast wearing keffiyeh designed sneakers 🥹

I love that people are just expecting us to forget dems completely rolling over and not even rhetorically opposing people’s cities being invaded and their neighbors being shot in the street, only opposing trump “not asking for permission” to start a catastrophic war with Iran, approving the majority of trumps cabinet picks. We are all just supposed to forget that and think that the same leadership will be different this time somehow.
