You mean Arsenal got knocked out by the team sitting 18th in League Two yesterday, and nobody is treating it like a national emergency? 😭😭
If that was Manchester United, the media would be running 24/7 coverage, demanding sackings and declaring the club finished. The double standards are actually insane. 💀

A Brazilian missing a crucial spot-kick for Arsenal in a penalty shootout?
Sounds strangely familiar.

Sky Sports are discussing Arsenal’s embarrassing result at Fleetwood and the first thing they say..‘it’s so similar to MK Dons beating United a few years ago’ There’s no story (nobody’s interested unless we mention Manchester United..🙄

Kai Rooney, 16, scored four yesterday.
I asked people who’ve worked/work with him what type of player he is and where his development is at.

Getting a bit confused by some people’s reactions to this!
Others may disagree, but I genuinely don’t think there’s anything wrong with this tackle. Not even a foul 🤷🏻♂️
A good, hard, ball winning tackle.

This was an embarrassing night for Arsenal in what is arguably the biggest Carabao Cup shock in history.
Mikel Arteta left many big names at home, but this was still a team littered with established internationals.
For the current Premier League champions and Champions League runners-up to lose to a team 84 places below them in the pyramid was unthinkable.
As well as Fleetwood played, this was a night in which too many of Arsenal’s players waited for someone else to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

How are people saying that’s not a red? 🤣
Dowman literally tries to knee the bloke.
It only looks soft because the Fleetwood lad doesn’t spend five minutes rolling around like you’d see in the Prem.

This whole away seat debate.
For me it’s simple, you can stand where you want but if someone asks you to move cos they want to be in their allocated space then move. No harm in trying but then show some respect if found out.
Or is that just a little bit sensible ?

‘Michael Carrick will be given time to turn things around’ and ‘the hierarchy do not want to rush next steps’ should be read and digested for what it really is: an indecisive club without any succession planning or contingencies because it doesn’t have clarity of identity in the first place. A club that often takes the cheap instead of the smart or right route because of the crippling Glazer debt, plus decision-makers who are never aligned - except in their own self-preservation. And it ends up costing more.
It explains the chaotic nature of lurching from one coaching philosophy to its extreme, to revisiting candidates that were on the agenda - some as far back as 2019 - that were already ruled out, to having a shortlist of options with nothing in common to take over a mishmash team that has suffered from horrid squad planning; both in incomings and exits.
Blame the players, blame the name in the dugout while the people who brought them to Manchester United, kept them, created the absolute opposite of a culture of excellence are allowed to rinse and repeat.
Man Utd have to be brave here and say Carrick is staying long-term. Back him big time. Can’t have a media feeding frenzy every weekend based on next result. Players have to know manager is going nowhere , so either put in hard yards or be axed.
