THIS FAMILY NEEDS A RESCUE. 💔🚨 Please, we cannot let this mama and her five newborn puppies be forgotten. 😭 Meet Moana🐾🐾, a beautiful 2-year-old, 66-pound American Bulldog mix sitting at Prince George’s County Animal Services in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. She gave birth to FIVE puppies inside the shelter, and this vulnerable little family desperately needs someone to step up. MOANA AND HER BABIES STILL NEED A RESCUE COMMITMENT. Here is what everyone needs to understand: Moana🐾🐾 does NOT need a specialized medical foster💕. She is in good body condition, alert, and her milk is fully in. She is capable of nursing and caring for her babies herself. She needs a rescue to sponsor her pull and a foster💕 to give her a quiet, safe place to raise her puppies. A spare bathroom, laundry room, walk-in closet, or puppy-proof room could make all the difference. She doesn't need anything fancy. She needs a clean, calm environment away from the stress of a crowded municipal shelter. We are desperately worried that continued stress could cause her milk to dry up, turning a manageable situation into a round-the-clock bottle-feeding emergency. Newborn puppies are incredibly vulnerable, and they need a safe, sanitary place to grow. We know rescues are overwhelmed. We know fosters💕 are stretched thin. But this mama has already done her part.
