When people constantly portray cyclists as law-breaking nuisances, it can encourage drivers to see every cyclist as a problem rather than a person sharing the road. That can affect how much space they're given, how closely they're overtaken and how patiently drivers behave.

Hey @RegPublicSchool it’s not very neighbourly to have your teachers park on a sidewalk. Well somebody’s actively snowblowing it trying to keep their property clean and safe for the community. @grantroad school should be embarrassed. I asked her to move. She politely refused.

Did you know that @TD_Canada can record your calls but will not talk to if you record them? The local branch in Regina assures me there is nothing they can do to help me get my money back that they allowed to be defrauded other than verify identity.
They being @TD_Canada. Some called in failed verification and was allowed to drain our bank account and rack up nearly 38 k in fraudulent credit charges. “Sorry sir nothing we can do.” Yet they allowed it to happen. #CRIMINALS #fraud
Meanwhile we are on fact in Mexico stranded with no money or cc from @TD_Canada because of their screwup. They also promised me they will not let me listen to the calls where they let the criminal do a transaction after failing verification. 👎🏻🤯

If I get on my bike for my morning commute (as I did today) or if I get in my car for my morning commute I pay exactly the same taxes.
This idea that cyclists do not pay taxes is just weird.
I am as entitled to the road on my bike as I am when I get in my car.
