I was told by a Meteorology professor at McGill in 1991 that weather forecasts will be very inaccurate when they switch to the new Doppler system compared to old “golf balls” and he is correct.

I would be concerned if they even counted properly in field checks with so many errors

Yes got it setup so can turn off and put siren on silence if nearby and have a switch so can use it on both overheads

Reason we tied in a house alarm siren with the light. You can hear it well in not near lights.

I would get that straight through dryer if possible just haven’t dried that high moisture so no experience with that

My kids missed quite a few Fridays for hockey tournaments. They got high grades that earned them hockey scholarships and they graduated with high honours in university. The time management, teamwork and other skills learned will be useful for life.

My April soybeans got fungicide already since rows canopied, loads of regular mushrooms growing already and same timing as my final herbicide pass. Plenty of soil moisture and fungicides are only preventative and not curative. The weather forecast changes every couple of days.

Half of each. Still picking best varieties first. Xtend better/easier weed control. Enlist nice on early maturity soybeans going into winter wheat. No horsetail on early soybeans makes easier harvest.

I never mentioned tw. I said there is a healthy balance between kernel weight and kernel count on a cob. The top kernel weight or top kernel count in a plot doesn’t necessarily mean highest yield.
Replying to @farmerschneck
Still about MT or whatever weight you want to use coming off field in the end. Kernel weight does matter and I don’t always pick a variety with most rows either since that wasn’t giving extra yield if smaller kernels. There is a healthy balance kernel weight to kernels per cob

I run an i2231 in fall on corn residue and then in spring normally run two passes in spring. First warms up soil then find second pass makes a perfect seedbed. This is also the seedbed setup for notill winter wheat in fall. All residue stays out of seedzone
