This is why i got blackpilled by the whole raising vc funding stuff. It looks impressive on socials but the reality is more muted.
88% of VC-backed founders who exited their companies got $0. Eduardo Azevedo and Kent Smetters analysed 157,669 startups and 248,454 founders from 1987 to 2025. Let that sink in...

Palmer Luckey says America still leads China in advanced AI and military technology… but warns that China’s manufacturing power could overcome the U.S. advantage: “We’re ahead by a few years. But that’s it.” 🇺🇸🇨🇳 “The United States is ahead of China in a lot of advanced sensing technology and advanced AI. But don’t underestimate them. We’ve seen with DeepSeek that they’re doing very interesting things in AI. What I’m doing at Anduril is ahead of what China is doing in most ways by a few years. But that’s it. A few years. I hate to admit this, but I was part of the problem for a long time. I made millions of virtual reality headsets in China. That’s where we made Oculus Rift, Gear VR, and Oculus Quest. Millions and millions of those things. I know how good they are, not just at manufacturing, but at actual technology development. They understood exactly what we were doing. They knew how we were doing it. They were able to rip it off and do it with their own domestic companies. When we were developing cutting-edge technology, we were never more than a few months ahead of China. Anything we figured out, they could copy and figure out very quickly. I don’t think they have a culture that’s particularly good at leaping beyond what we’re doing. But you don’t have to leap beyond what we’re doing to be a threat to us. If they’re really good at manufacturing, have way more people, and technology that’s about as good as ours, that’s all you need to win.”

I’m arguing with my dad, he keeps saying AI is a bubble. And I keep telling him you have no idea what you’re talking about. People on the outside do not understand what it means when in 2 days you do 2 months of work. Normie brain can’t compute this. We are so early.

Underrated video
There’s a misconception that a successful launch video needs to cost tens of thousands of dollars and feel like a high production commercial. But @FarzaTV has a different approach. Farza is the founder of @heyclicky and previously built Buildspace, one of the largest online schools for people working on their own ideas. He’s been making videos for over a decade, and today his posts regularly get millions of views. Rather than treating launches as rare, high-stakes moments, he’s made them part of the everyday process of building a company. Farza sat down with YC’s @aaron_epstein to share his playbook for turning demos into stories people actually want to watch. He breaks down how he scripts videos that still feel off the cuff, why founders should launch constantly, and and how to figure out which channels actually convert. 01:44 — Launch Constantly 03:38 — Start Shipping Demos 05:02 — Show the Process 06:07 — The Clicky Launch 07:43 — Write a Hook That Stops the Scroll 10:30 — Why Farza Scripts Every Video 12:04 — Designing the First 10 Seconds 15:15 — Demo-Driven Development 17:25 — You Have to Take a Thousand Shots 20:48 — Farza’s Formula for Videos That Convert 23:01 — Turning Demos Into Stories 24:53 — Show What You're Actually Building 29:11 — Finding Customers on Social Media 31:02 — Which Platforms Actually Convert? 39:01 — Why Farza’s First Hire Was a Filmmaker 40:49 — The Video Stack 45:41 — The 30-Day Launch Challenge

Its cool but i think as much as i dont trust openai, openai has hit the sweet spot. Natural enough to talk to, not so natural that it has unnessasary flaws
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa
