This morning, I had a call with KC from @LemonadedApp. Honestly… this guy is a beast. With him, everything is technically possible. And the product they’re building? A real gamechanger for anyone organizing events, IRL or online. Spoiler: most people still have no idea how big this can be. Quick flashback: For the past 4 years, I’ve been running Cryptosquare, a project I launched with my co-founder Edouard. We organize meetups and events to spotlight crypto projects and especially to help Belgian audiences discover international ones. We’ve tested it all: → Eventbrite (the classic) → Luma (early token gating, a must for us) → Billy, Unlock, Moongate… But none of them ticked all the boxes. There was always a compromise: UX, wallets, token gate, data export, branding… And then came Lemonade. Honestly, this is the first time I feel like one platform can actually do everything. • Native token gating • Fiat or crypto sales • Wallet or no wallet (your choice) • Online & IRL events • Super intuitive UI • Custom branding • A great check-in app for events • A no-show management system I love • …and the list goes on The no-show system is brilliant: Running a free event? People pay a $10 USDC deposit when claiming a ticket. If they attend, they’re refunded. If they don’t? → The organizer keeps the funds (or redistributes them to attendees). No more empty events from flakey RSVPs. And way easier to plan drinks, catering, capacity… Another cool feature they’ve built in: A proof-of-attendance NFT, automatically sent when participants are validated at the entrance. Think of it like a POAP but only issued upon real check-in. Simple, clean, long-term utility. (For example: at the MegaETH meetup in Brussels, those who minted that day were GTD for the BadBunnz mint. Pretty nice, right?) I’m seriously bullish on Lemonade. It’s rare to see a web3 product this solid, built for real use cases coming straight from the web2 world and still 100% user-friendly. Now it just needs to scale. Because if Tomorrowland 2026 decides to switch to Lemonade... that backend better be ready 😅 And that’s not all… They also launched LemonHeads. This isn’t just another PFP drop. It’s a full on-chain digital identity for citizens of the “United Stands of Lemonade.” • Free Citizen Passport • Governance access • 5% of the $LEMON token supply reserved for active holders • Real utility connected to Lemonade (event tools, creation rights, DAOs...)
