The ChatGPT Plus $20 went through a bit of a change recently, and it upset a lot of AI coders using Codex.
I cover what changed, and how you can adjust to get the most out of your Plus subscription.
Please share with your friends, I really think it will help!
I’ve gone the other direction to 1x. There’s too much mental stimulation, especially with AI. I’m also becoming less patient with people.
I’m trying to be more mindful and slowing down. I also got rid of voice input.
Get your time back. I don't watch many videos these days, prefer to read, but one of the most underrated tips I received was to start watching videos on significantly higher playback speeds.
It's kinda like a muscle you have to work out, but now I listen to most videos between 2.5x-3.5x.
Yes, even @theo's lol
If you have headphones on, it's much easier to follow and comprehension doesn't typically degrade.
This allows you to consume much more information in a MUCH shorter time period.
If you're still listening/watching things on 1x, I strongly encourage you to try this. I love it!
Really enjoying @joshpuckett’s interfacecraft.dev. It’s helped me slow down and notice things like never before. Thank you Josh!
Over the weekend, I sent Droid on a Mission to create a home automation app. I wanted it to look like “xbox360 UI meets Spike Jonze's Her meets Liquid Glass”
I told it find the devices on my network, loop me in when it needs help (IRL or w/ auth) and make a 3d mockup of my apt.

I'm starting to realize that 4-5 key people will change the trajectory of your entire career or business.
Some archetypes this can look like:
- A fantastic boss/manager
- A champion at a first customer that opens doors for you
- A colleague that vouches for you to get a job that's out of your league
- A mentor that gives you honest feedback of your current business and what you need to change
Finding those 4-5 people is way more important than being popular, having followers, etc. Find whatever spaces that will have the highest likelihood of those 4-5 people being there.

The "holy shit" moment when I realized agent-browser can control Slack
npx skills add vercel-labs/agent-browser --skill slack
A nice reminder of the beautiful designs Apple has given us over the years. Yes, they do make mistakes but I'm still a fan.

Just released my next-generation agent session viewer with analytics dashboard (Go + Svelte). A much evolved version of wesm/agent-session-viewer which is now deprecated:
agentsview.io
💡A very unintuitive discovery on @OpenAI's Codex:
- start a task on Codex cloud
- receive a notification in the ChatGPT iOS app that does nothing on tap
- after a few app restarts, Codex will show up in the hamburger menu
@romainhuet please improve this flow 😄
High signal, low noise: a brilliant guide to using coding agents effectively. The “mise en place” analogy is gold. Useful for beginners and master chefs building custom harnesses.

Is the next form factor on-demand, event-driven cloud agents?
We believe the coding agent is dead.
Soon, Amp will look very different.

Agent Readiness is gold! I’m smiling ear to ear. Well done @FactoryAI @droid 👏

Spending this month with @FactoryAI’s @droid. Going to compare it with OpenCode, amp and Claude Code.
Spec mode vs ultrawork/ulw with oh-my-opencode vs Compound Engineering vs Deep mode.
No scientific evals, just subjective developer experience.
