The delegation comprised members of the East Turkistan Parliament-in-Exile representing the diaspora in Türkiye, together with East Turkistan National Fund President Mr. Seyfullah Abdukadir.
Consultations included representatives of Anahtar Parti, AK Parti, MHP, BBP, CHP, and İYİ Parti. All counterparts received the ETGE white paper, East Turkistan Was Never a Part of China and Restoring Its Independence Is the Only Way Forward, accompanied by a one-page letter setting out specific requests for diplomatic, parliamentary, and legal support.
The delegation urged Türkiye to take a leading role in mobilizing international action to end China’s occupation, colonization, and ongoing genocide in East Turkistan, and to support the restoration of East Turkistan’s independence. It requested support for the genocide complaint submitted by the ETGE and East Turkistan National Movement to the International Criminal Court and for the ETGE’s United Nations decolonization petition.
The delegation further sought support for ETGE observer status within both the OTS and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), emphasizing the need for institutional representation of East Turkistan’s peoples in Turkic and Muslim multilateral forums.
During the engagements, the ETGE conferred its Order of Friendship on Anahtar Parti Chariman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, writer Taha Kılınç, and QHA–Crimean News Agency.
Siz Guangdong’a gideceksiniz.

‼️77 years ago today, China invaded East Turkistan. Its occupation & colonial domination are the root cause of the ongoing Uyghur genocide. On this National Day of Mourning, we demand international action: end China's genocide, decolonize East Turkistan, restore its independence.
East Turkistan was once a state in its own right: two East Turkistan republics emerged, briefly, in the 1930s and 1940s, before it was incorporated into the People’s Republic of China in 1949.

🚨On October 12, 1949, the Chinese communist invasion of East Turkistan began, marking the start of decades of colonial occupation and ongoing genocide under the People's Republic of China.

The massacre took place just two months after China launched its ongoing campaign of genocide in May 2014, becoming one of its earliest and deadliest atrocities.

East Turkistan is NOT “a part of China;" it is a captive nation occupied by China since 1949. Public Law 86-90 recognized Turkistan among the captive nations whose desire for liberty and national independence must be kept alive. The U.S. must honor that law. #CaptiveNationsWeek
