Middle East supply tightness lifted oil prices. USOIL closed above the swing high after holding around the resistance at 101.00. The price shows diverging bullish EMAs, indicating upside potential. Breaking above the resistance at 101.00 may lead USOIL toward the resistance at 106.00.
The euro-dollar consolidated as French fiscal fears and weak Eurozone data offset ECB tightening hopes. EURUSD consolidated below the resistance at 1.1250 and EMA21. The price shows lower swings, reinforcing its downtrend. Breaking below 1.1120 may prompt a drop toward 1.1000.
The Fed’s next move is on the board♟️
The Fed announces its interest rate decision at 18:00 UTC on 28 October 2026, the last decision before the December meeting.
In September, the Fed raised rates for the first time since 2023, to 3.75–4%, and signaled one more hike before the end of the year.
The data since then has been mixed. Inflation rose to 3.7% in September on the back of higher fuel prices, beating forecasts, while core inflation climbed to 2.6% from 2.4%. At the same time, the US economy added just 29,000 jobs.
Markets have, however, lowered expectations for an October rate hike after Fed Chair Kevin Warsh said at an IMF summit in Bangkok on 16 October that the economy had “broadly conformed” to the Fed’s expectations.
Other officials have said there’s no rush to hike again, and many now expect the next move in December. But Warsh won’t say in advance what the Fed will do, so a surprise isn’t off the table.
Even if rates stay put, the tone of the statement and Warsh’s press conference at 18:30 GMT could shift December expectations and move USD pairs, gold, and US indices.
Hike or hold: which piece do you think the Fed will pick? 👇

Hi @arham386,
I have personally followed up with the Support team handling your case and can confirm that we have already contacted you via email.
Regarding order #516173008, the request to close the position was rejected with the “Off quotes” error. At the time you attempted to close the order, XAUUSDm was approaching or experiencing a news event.
During such periods, higher volatility or lower liquidity can lead to larger market movements, putting more pressure on the margin supporting your open positions.
Your request to close the trade would have increased your net exposure to XAUUSDm, further reducing your available margin buffer.
As part of our risk management measures, orders that would increase your exposure beyond the level your account can support may be rejected. This helps maintain sufficient margin and reduce the risk of Stop Out, although it cannot prevent it entirely.
You can also find more information in our Help Centre: get.exness.help/hc/en-us/art…
If you have any further questions regarding the findings or need additional clarification, please reply directly to our team's email. We'll be happy to assist you.
Thank you

VOLATILITY ALERT 🚨Hawkish BoC and rising safe-haven demand weigh on the US dollar-Canadian dollar (USDCAD)
Canadian inflation ticked up on energy prices, while core inflation eased. With tariff and energy risks still pointing higher, markets expect the Bank of Canada to hike to 2.5% next week, supporting the Canadian dollar.
In the US, the Fed is expected to hold this month, while a tech selloff is driving demand for long-term Treasuries and weighing on the US dollar.

Hi,
I’ve taken a look at the scenario based on what you’ve shared.
Buy Orders executes at the Ask price. Since charts on desktop and mobile show the Bid price by default, it can sometimes look like it reached your price when it didn’t.
The ‘Ask Price Line’ in the platform can help with this. Just go to Properties and select Show Ask Price Line. That will let you track the relevant price directly on the chart.
Additionally, price differences between brokers or trading platforms can arise for two main reasons:
- Different liquidity pools: OTC (Over-the-Counter) markets do not have a single centralized price. Brokers may use different liquidity providers and liquidity pools, meaning that prices can differ for short periods, particularly during volatile or less liquid market conditions.
- Different spreads: Brokers may apply different Bid-Ask spreads. For example, a platform showing a wider spread may display a lower Bid price even when its mid-price is broadly aligned with other platforms.
As a multi-asset broker, we operate using our own aggregated liquidity pools. Therefore, the prices displayed on our platform reflect the liquidity available to us and may not always match prices shown on TradingView or other brokers or platforms at the same moment.
We can also take a closer look. If you send your account number and exact timing of the trade via DM or [email protected].
Thank you
