Question for #XRjobs: For a non-tech person, who doesn't dream of becoming tech-fluent, what baseline (tech) skills/competencies are critical to develop, nonetheless?

Attending just two concerts in @oculus venues got me thinking about how we might experience performances in #VR in the future. Curious to learn more about fan engagement from @WXRfund and @Verizon5g Labs next week.

"I hope you enjoyed it. If not, I'm sorry." Good job, @LewisCapaldi for engaging with a stadium of avatars that can't applaud! Curious to see how #VR @oculus venue performances develop to allow for audience feedback. BTW, @LewisCapaldi, I did enjoy it.👏Thank you.

"The art of gathering" in #VR. LOTS of (interesting) thoughts from @kentbye about "the architecture of a space,"and a virtual space's impact on embodiment and social interaction in #VR.

ICYMI: I did a deep dive interview & extended essay looking at the current state of virtual conferencing using virtual reality. Lots of thoughts about the Art of Gathering in the era of a global pandemic.

Impressed to see @Iristick piloting #smartglasses for #telemedicine in DR Congo. @HumanitarianGC During my two deployments to remote DRC for Ebola, #smartglasses #AR could have allowed us to remotely support health care workers in insecure, inaccessible areas.

A warm welcome from the local people in Congo for our smart glasses pilot to support healthcare workers in remote, rural areas. Big thanks to @MemisaBelgium, ITG, Avanti and @HumanitarianGC to make this happen together. #Telemedicine #connectedworkers #socialimpact
