Processes are sooo important. That said, I think creating an environment that encourages building, optimizing and especially breaking processes is key. Otherwise it will feel like burocracy indeed.

Quite a few websites in Germany are using the cmp (consent management platform) usercentrics. We also use it and it has made our already questionable web vitals even worse. weltsparen.de/festgeld/

Reminds me of the rabbit bug discovered by Spanish SEOs in 2018 for some reason. 😁 en.ryte.com/magazine/breakin…

Super interesting question. I'd assume that it is not respected by Googlebot (or any other bot) since the robots.txt is handled in a different way than other assets. But if it is acknowledged by a crawler, I'd assume that every following directive will not be followed.
From what I've seen, I think the rates in the UK are too low. In Germany (and Netherlands) rates are around 150-200€/h for strategic SEO (agencies, not freelancers). And that's worth it imho.

Although I doubt there is much "reacting" if at all rather pulling through with items that were on the list for a longer time.

Sure, everything that is different to the usual layout has a better CTR. Now, if it's even visually bigger then the rest of the SERPs. Especially the ads.. first reaction to the bad numbers in Q2?!

Just saw this half an hour ago. Looks weird to me and titles get cut off earlier in terms of pixels.

Unsere war zunächst höchst verwirrt. Warum sind die den ganzen Tag da? Gibt es jetzt mehr essen? Mittlerweile scheint sie es zu genießen. Insbesondere wenn sie auf die Tastatur während einem Call läuft

I agree that many pages do not use it as intented, but what about this theory: Even though it IS misused, Google won't change this because the unintended side effect of mass FAQ snippets is that people stay longer in the SERPs thus potentially being more exposed to ads?

Still wonder if SimilarWeb is next to announce something similar

@screamingfrog Hey guys, I've heard that you have a beta version of screaming frog that allows you to use JS-rendering while running sf headless. Any chance to get that beta? Please? :)

Does similiarweb use different data? The idea is the same, just wondering if they will face issues now.
