Chips, Space, Defense, AI, and More
Falcomm's FGN1722 GaN Power Amplifier is made for the people building what comes next: RF engineers, satellite teams, defense integrators, 5G architects and anyone pushing hardware past what last generation silicon could do.
Up to 49% PAE across 17 to 22 GHz, powering the systems behind space tech, defense tech, next gen wireless and the frontier applications still on the whiteboard.
Now on @digikey in eval kits, packaged QFN and bare die.

Chips, AI, Startups and More 🚀📡🥂
During @VentureAtlanta , Falcomm is opening its doors to the people building what comes next: chip designers, AI engineers, founders, investors and anyone curious about the hardware that powers modern communications.
This year, the new #DeepTechTrack brings space tech, defense tech, frontier tech, robotics, and quantum computing into the conference lineup, and there will be plenty to talk about once the sessions wrap. Expect good food, good drinks and the kind of conversations that start with "so what are you working on?" and end with a follow-up on the calendar.

Falcomm ran a live demo at #GTS2026 showing the latest capabilities of GaNdalph.ai, an AI-native design tool with first-class support for GF's RFGaN1 process. Demonstrating how a power amplifier can be designed at the speed of AI, in front of the people building the next generation of RF systems, was the best kind of validation.
@GlobalFoundries's GRFGaN1 process moving into volume production changes what's possible for power amplifier design. Pairing that with an AI design tool built specifically for it means faster iteration, faster deployment, and a real path from prototype to production instead of every design being treated as a one-off.
This is where the industry is headed. Efficient, high-power RF at scale, powered by tools that speed up the design cycle rather than just the manufacturing cycle. Proud to be building that with GF.

It is great to see @GlobalFoundries highlighting our work with GaNdalph.ai, @FalcommInc 's AI design tool built with first-class support for RFGaN1.
Falcomm built GaNdalph.ai around a simple goal: collapse the time between an idea and a working power amplifier. That means design cycles measured in days instead of months, with engineers able to iterate on architectures at a pace that was not possible before. It also means closing the gap between simulation and hardware, so what the tool predicts is what actually shows up on the bench. RFGaN1 gives that ambition a manufacturable foundation to run on at volume. Pairing a mature RF GaN process with an AI native EDA platform is how 100% simulation to hardware correlation stops being an aspiration and starts being a standard. Proud to be building toward that with GF.

AI-native chip design is completely redefining design cycles, and flows. Development cycles for sure will shrink, is inevitable. The challenge remains what happens after the tapeout: wafer dicing, packaging, assembly, and qualification. US doesn't have capabilities for wafer post-processing yet - this needs to change to increase our semiconductor dominance!
The standard of excellence is pain! I keep rewatching @davidsenra interview with @travisk. Very inspiring 🚀.
Such powerful and truthful words.
“ A super high bar for a VC is: do no harm.”
@travisk says only 10% of VCs are able to do no harm, and only 1% are actually helpful:
“ An operator who's running a company, if they're good, is a grandmaster of chess.”
”And the VC is a chess enthusiast. They check in on the chess match once every three months and they're trying to make a mark on the world. They have an opinion.”
“And you're like, don't go to Jordan and tell him how to dunk, and definitely don't go to him and tell him how to dribble. But it's hard because everybody has an opinion.”
“The way to think about it is—you're on the Serengeti. If an antelope limps in the Serengeti, the lion will take it down, even if it's not hungry. Can't even fucking help it. It's just what he does. That's kind of the nature of most VCs.”
Chip design flows will be 95% AI-native. That’s a certainty. I still can’t believe how many engineers think this isn’t possible. If that’s you, message me and I’ll demo GaNdalph.
More sats in orbit last night. Thermals and power still a challenge. The power amplifier is still the bottleneck. 🚀
