Trump has implemented the strictest legal immigration cuts since the immigration act of 1924.

"Legal" immigration has continued and will increase. Illegal immigration has slowed to a crawl, so now deliberately opening the gates to legal immigration, which the Republicans have always promised.

Let me answer that for you. They are looking at flawed polling. How do I know it's flawed?
Looking through the crosstabs of the last two polls applicable to Gay James and Paxton, it became clear that something was off. On a hunch, I took to social media, entered a few keywords and found about 50 of these people within 10 minutes. Democrats were so invested in convincing everyone that Donald Trump's voters had abandoned him they have sabotaged their own party. In other words, it is completely impossible to run a campaign unless your polling is accurate...and it's completely impossible to get accurate polling if participants lie about their political affiliations.

I notice that everyone who makes their whole persona "owning the chuds" is shilling hard for an open communist in Brazil right now all because it makes the chuds mad.
When these people tell you who they are, believe them.
The right simply doesn't recognize any election it doesn't win as legitimate. In their soggy, conspiracy addled brains, the right can't be beaten, only cheated here and everywhere. Unfortunately this is just a feature of modern politics now, and there's a whole garbage ecosystem to support it that includes media organizations and nonprofits. It's simply a fact of life now that we have to deal with this every single time an election doesn't go their way.

In the latest instance of regime media lies, let's look at The New York Times ranking Montana "fine" (32nd most gerrymandered) in its ranking of state gerrymandering.
Nonsense-- as any Republican who was actually involved in the Montana redistricting process will tell you, it was a blatant partisan Democrat gerrymander done by a supposedly "non-partisan" redistricting commission that the Democrats controlled (despite the GOP holding the governorship and legislative supermajorities at the time-- the Montana GOP is improving, but the Dems are still *much* better at bare-knuckle politics than we are.)
According to the geniuses at the New York Times, Montana's redistricting process was a natural division between the "mountainous" Western part of the state and the more conservative high plains.
But there's Helena, which as you can see on this map is *West* of Bozeman (And most certainly has mountains in and near it) in the "Eastern" district, and Bozeman in the "Western" district.
Which is strange because in non-political items like school sports and activities, my kids' schools in Bozeman compete in the Eastern division of the state, while Helena (to our West) unsurprisingly competes in the Western division of the State.
Now if you guessed that Bozeman might have been placed in the competitive Western district and Helena in the East because the areas in and around Bozeman are considerably more liberal than the areas in and around Helena, then give yourself a cookie-- you're much smarter (or at least more honest) than the New York Times editors.
In fact, it's only because of this blatant Democrat gerrymander that the great @aaronflint is in a competitive open seat Congressional race this cycle with Sam Forstag, an AOC-endorsed lobbyist from Portland. (Aaron is a good candidate, and Trump still took the more liberal Montana 1st Congressional district by 11 points, so Flint should win, but because of the Democrats' gerrymander, we're having to expend valuable resources here.
The "good" news is that the Democrats' gerrymander of Montana was so extreme, and growth in the 1st ("Western" district is so much faster than in the 2nd, that in the 2030 redistricting, it will be almost impossible for the "nonpartisan" commission to not dump substantial liberal voting territory in and around Bozeman into the far more conservative 1st district, giving Montana two solidly conservative Congressional district which is what we should have.
In the meantime, we can ensure that both of Montana's districts continue to have conservative representation that represents Montana values by fighting against the liberal New York Times and Montana's left-wing "nonpartisan" redistricting commission and voting for Aaron Flint for Congress.

I know I’m late, but I’ve only just got round to watching the manosphere documentary and wow. I knew things were bad, but THAT bad? I genuinely wasn’t expecting it.
It’s heartbreaking and deeply disturbing on so many levels. What’s perhaps most worrying is knowing that there are so many boys my age who hold similar views because these are the people they’re watching and looking up to.

When you examine all of the facts about Texas:
1) 5 points right of 2016, 8 points of 2020
2) Latino vote share, at minimum, 10% stronger than 2016, across the board
3) Talarico likely to drop a third of O’Rourke’s El Paso margin of 100k
4) Red county turnout increase over fear of Blue Texas
5) Talarico demanding debates despite being “up 6”
6) Cornyn’s people working overtime to spread negativity
7) Low turnout like 2014 for GOP is the only way for a Dem win
It should be obvious to all the if Republicans turn out to vote, Texas will elect Paxton to the Senate.
THEREFORE, the operation now is expressly to discourage turnout to bring about the only possibility of a Democrat win - low GOP turnout.
Stop buying into this crap.

Are you telling me that "Sangeeta Bhatia" doesn't respect Anglo-Saxon traditional customs of a fair and impartial trial?
🚨 BOMBSHELL COURT EVIDENCE EXPOSES INSIDER INFLUENCE OVER MIT'S TENURE-REVIEW PROCESS IN THE DAVID M. SABATINI ORDEAL.
🔱 NEW REVELATION — Court evidence exposes MIT Professor Sangeeta Bhatia's involvement in the selection of Sabatini's tenure-review committee
On 27 September 2021, Kristin Knouse exchanged messages with Izabella Pena following a conversation with @MIT Professor Sangeeta Bhatia.
The court-disclosed messages reveal Kristin Knouse telling Izabella Pena:
🔴 “Sangeeta just called”
🔴 “they even asked for insight into who to put on the committee”
🔴 “AND she said she will go to Rafael Reif’s office and protest the decision if and when needed.”
Pena responded:
“At least they are asking her insight”
Knouse replied:
“Exactly”
“This is good”
⚠️ The evidence exposes a troubling channel of insider influence surrounding MIT's tenure-review process.
These contemporaneous communications document that Knouse understood Bhatia to have been consulted about the committee's composition and to be prepared to challenge its eventual decision directly with MIT President Rafael Reif.
Rather than an independent review insulated from interested parties, the messages reveal access to the committee-selection process by an academic aligned with the complainant, raising serious concerns about institutional impartiality and conflicts of interest.
This disclosure adds another significant piece to the growing documentary record surrounding the institutional handling of Professor @DMSabatini's case.

This is a reminder of the stakes today, not only for Western nations but also for those who enter politics on the right. Failure doesn’t mean you get to go back to a normal life. Failure means you go to prison or are tortured under house arrest or killed. A sobering thought.
“Flávio has given up,” an adviser to the Bolsonaro family told me. “He’s terrified. He is worried his father will die in jail, that he himself will be jailed this week and that he may have a long prison term ahead.”

Lula would have had to win at least 7/10 votes for eliminated Round 1 candidates in order for Rio de Janeiro vote totals to make any sense.
The only problem?
It doesn't ANY sense because all of the eliminated candidates endorsed Bolsonaro.
🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro: where did Lula find 872,000 new votes?
Round 1: 3,693,021
Round 2: 4,565,393

That's +872,372 votes in three weeks.
Only about 1.07 million votes were up for grabs in round 2:

217,769 people who stayed home in round 1 but voted in round 2

~147,000 people who voted blank or null in round 1

709,835 who voted for eliminated candidates (Cury, Renan Santos, Caiado, Zema and others)
Now give Lula the best possible case: every single new voter and every single former blank/null voter.
He still needs about 508,000 of those 710,000, meaning more than 7 out of every 10 voters of the eliminated candidates.
But here’s the thing: Cury, Caiado and Zema all endorsed Flávio Bolsonaro.
Something doesn’t add up.

Humans are a pack animal.
This may be hard to understand if you are evangelical and think the book of genesis is literal rather than allegorical, but humans are a pack animal.
What this means is that the human desire for the acceptance and support of a tribe is as fundamental as the desire for food, for air, for water, for sex, for sunlight, for love.
If you tell young men that they cannot have a tribe, they're not going to accept that.
Ever.
Especially if you tell that only to the young men of one tribe in particular. They're going to wonder why everybody gets to have a tribe and they don't.
And they're eventually going to decide that you are the enemy.
Because you are. Anyone who stands between young men and what they need for a healthy, fulfilled life is their enemy.
That includes you.
And if you manage to convince them that god doesn't want them to have a tribe, it will also include god.
The more you push back against their healthy and natural desire for a tribe, a homeland, and a birthright, the more they will hate you, and the more exclusive their definition of that tribe will become.
There is no way you can stop this. The only thing you can control is how far they have to go, how radical they have to become, in order to get it.
Because this can go all the way from enforcing immigration law, and shutting down corrupt visa programs right now, to gangs of young White men in balaclavas with Ar15s going door to door ten years from now.
We have to do something about the 14th amendment. I don't care if that makes you uncomfortable or unhappy. It's not a choice. The constitution exists to serve Americans, not the other way around. If that sentence confuses you, read the first paragraph of the constitution.
If we do not, young men of the future, the same little boys who are being radicalized right now by your malicious indifference, will treat a piece of paper that says they cannot have a homeland the way they would treat a piece of paper that says that can't eat food, or a piece of paper that says they can't own a home, or have a wife and children.
You may think that you offer them a tribe in the form of the universal kingdom of god, the community of all believers, but that's just a word game and you know it, which is why you are so defensive about the whole thing.
Where was the universal community of believers when these young men needed help? When they needed not just the surface appearance of a tribe, but someone to do the things that tribes actually do for younger generations they care about?
The pack serves a concrete set of functions in the life cycle of the human species, and you cannot perform those functions with a cardboard cutout.
Young men are sick of religion that offers them responsibilities with no rights, lectures with no help, demands with no love or empathy.
It's odd, in a way ironic, that, I, the man of zero faith, should have to be the one standing here telling self-styled religious leaders how they failed both their people and their god.
But having no faith does give me one advantage. It frees me from the delusion that Jesus is a puppet that I can pull out of my pocket, slip over my right hand, move his mouth and make him say what I want.
I used to wonder, as a child, what the phrase "taking the name of the lord in vain" actually meant.
But I no longer wonder, because when I became a man, I looked around me and saw all these people who talk to god and somehow get told exactly what they want to hear.
Then I understood that the key phrase here wasn't "in vain". It was "taking". Taking the name of god and using it as a tool for one's own goals.
Joel, here, is sad that his friend is getting sent home. This personally inconveniences both him and his friend, which effects Joel in a way that young men being denied their birthright does not.
So he finds an interpretation of scripture that says that god wants him, Joel Berry, to get his way, and that god wants all the young men who want a homeland and a birthright to go get fucked.
I'm not terribly impressed.
