I was quite emotional this morning. I davened (prayed) at 6am. Then, I voted. In democratic elections. I then read about the $2+ Billion acquisition of 🇮🇱 quantum computing company Qlassic by intel. I was thrilled for our friends and colleagues who backed and built Qlassic. And, on a small personal level, I am excited by the new book I was privileged to write that is arriving in stores today. On the voting line at 7 a.m. I met a female soldier with an M16 slung on her shoulder. A yeshiva student. Elderly people and professors. Some with yarmulkes and others without. We live in neighborhood in this city where you see everything and everyone. I also thought about my children who are voting at special ballot boxes because they’re in the army or on the front lines now. I want you to stop and think for a minute. Almost any other country that would have gone through what we in Israel went through would not have made it to this moment. Massive protests, covid, a 7 front war, fractious politics and cacophonous social media. Indeed, arguments and disagreements are very present — but even this morning, people who will vote differently from one another at the ballot box will then get in the same tank and share a shabbat dinner. They are willing to give up their body and soul, one for the other, for something greater than themselves. Before I cast my vote this morning, I paused and thought about those who unfortunately and tragically didn’t return from the front lines and the hostages that did not return from captivity. Our biological family and our Israeli family. It is our first election since October 7th. My eyes teared up. I then thought about the heroism and self-sacrifice of young Israelis: the hundreds of days of service by our soldiers—our children—and their families stationed on the front lines and holding down the home front so that we may merit to live as free people in our land after two thousand years. This is no trifling matter. Our ancestors would have given arms and legs to have this gift. Many people around the world yearn for our freedom. We are privileged to be part of this incredible people and this amazing country at this extraordinary time. We are fortunate and blessed. I feel personally fortunate and blessed. Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱

Did you know? Iran owns a plot of land in Tel Aviv 🇮🇱 In the 1970s, the Shah of Iran bought 17 Remez Street in Tel Aviv to build an embassy. But in 1979, the Islamic Revolution changed everything, and the land stayed empty. Today, Israel still protects this property under international law. While waiting for a democratic Iran, Israel turned the site into a public garden. One day soon, this garden will finally become the embassy it was always meant to be.

This is another example of this emerging “retail barbell effect” that I’m focused on, with the rise of GEO and AEO and live shopping, The digital transformation is going to impact brands and retailers more than ever meanwhile, as a counter to this explosion of technology, you have this effect of real life, physical, tangible analog, executions like cafés and pop-up sampling events, pop-up shops, activations at concerts and sporting events experiential marketing so the explosion of trends that are hitting people that are selling things a.k.a. the things I just mentioned will lead to a whole New World by 2030 and most retailers and brands are not ready for the extremities on both the digital and the analog side of things

I do not normally respond to online rumors but feel the need to do so at this moment I will not be a candidate for the currently vacant HC and GM positions with the Miami Dolphins. While you never know what the future may bring right now my focus must remain on global events and also the precious archives of the United States of America. Thank you

One year ago today, our house burned down in Los Angeles. A few things I learned over the past 12 months: - I had a home to lose -- that fact alone is a gift - Everything we touch is temporarily on loan, never truly ours. Shifting from "I lost this" to "there it goes" is a subtle but meaningful reframing - Humor, for me, was the best medicine - I didn't need 95% of what I owned and never repurchased it - Family heirlooms and gifts from my kids went from being "things in a drawer" to the deepest losses. Take photos of it all, and while you have them, put those things out - proudly and visibly - If a friend experiences a loss, send something. A card, a gift, anything, the physical object in the mail is very powerful So many to thank: @sacca/@crystale, @tonyconrad, @tferriss, @joshcook and many others sent things I could have bought myself but didn’t have the emotional bandwidth to even think about. I’m forever grateful. And to @sara, thank you for the incredible generosity with furniture and clothes when we moved into an apartment, you have such a wonderful heart. Also, @m_franceschetti and @eightsleep for the bed (a staple in our home) and offering a discount code for fire survivors. @trueventures, their first call was "what can we do" and "take as much time as you need", such the true way, what a fantastic firm. Lastly, to @summertomato - such a pillar of strength and wrangler of the chaos. The kids walked away wiser and with deeper emotional intelligence by your handling this with grace. I'm know I'm missing so many...thank you 🙏 What a year and chapter, onward. Wishing you all love and safety this year. Be well.

Miamiposting might be a phenomenon whose time has passed, but having just spent a few days visiting, it really does feel like a boomtown in a way that no other American city that I've spent time in over the past few years does. In some ways, it reminds me of Chinese cities.

The Biden-Harris administration made available a $25,000,000 reward for information that would have lead to the arrest of Nicolas Maduro. Now you're saying capturing him was unlawful? Did you just entirely forget your administration's policy?

“Minneapolis paid a Somalian restaurant $12 MILLION in federal child meal funds after it claimed to feed 4,000–6,000 kids a day.” The FBI watched the restaurant for 6 WEEKS. An average of 40 people showed up. If fraud this obvious still gets approved, corruption is NORMALIZED.

I founded @ARKInvest in 2014 to research and invest in the biggest technology revolution in history, the “new creation” that we now know @elonmusk is leading. Neuralink is combining brilliant minds and technology to transform what once was science fiction into reality.
Neuralink will start high-volume production of brain-computer interface devices and move to a streamlined, almost entirely automated surgical procedure in 2026. Device threads will go through the dura, without the need to remove it. This is a big deal.

This is why I sought and achieved the repeal of in-state tuition for illegals (which was enacted prior to my tenure). It rewards illegal entry but also treats an illegal alien better than a US citizen from 49 other states.
🚨🇺🇸 TRUMP ADMIN SUES VIRGINIA FOR GIVING IN-STATE TUITION TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHILE AMERICANS PAY FULL PRICE It’s official: the Trump administration is taking the state of Virginia to court, filing a lawsuit to block the University of Virginia from offering in-state tuition to illegal aliens, a move that directly challenges how states distribute taxpayer-funded benefits. The argument? You can’t reward illegal entry into the country with discounted college tuition while American citizens from other states are getting financially wrecked just to attend the same university. The lawsuit says Virginia is violating federal immigration law by extending in-state rates, funded by Virginia taxpayers, to people not even legally allowed to be in the country. Make it make sense. If Trump wins this case, it could blow a hole through the entire left-wing playbook of sneaking illegal immigrants into taxpayer-funded perks, from tuition, to healthcare, to housing. While citizens drown in student debt, Virginia thought it’d be a great idea to give illegal aliens a tuition discount, but this lawsuit is a direct challenge to that logic, and a bold shot across the bow of every other blue state doing the same thing. America First means putting Americans first, always. Source: @AZ_Intel_, The New York Times
