Largely missed Cheesecake Factory-gate but find it genuinely funny that people seem more offended by a swipe at a restaurant than the comparison to Saddam Hussein 😂😭😭

Russia and China agreeing with this move is a sure sign that it is one of the most dogshit ideas concocted.
The Trump administration has encouraged former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to run for UN Secretary-General, with Russia and China reportedly supportive of a joint candidacy. Orbán is reportedly interested but reluctant to run without confidence of winning. Trump and Vance are expected to support him, with a possible announcement after the U.S. midterm elections. 👀Retiring GOP Rep. Mark Amodei responded to McIntosh re #NV02 - “At least this crowd is absolutely consistent. Forget fundamental factual and character messes that campaigns won’t and can’t respond to; and attempt to change the focus to party loyalty,” Amodei said. “Let me know when Club For Growth does a statement on campaign finance compliance, stolen Valor, and individual background transparency.” politico.com/news/2026/10/26…
Knives are already out: “The bedwetting from outgoing moderate Republicans will define their legacy and only help socialists get elected,” said David McIntosh, president of the Club for Growth.

Josh Shapiro slams Vivek Ramaswamy: I've prosecuted dozens of people for sexual abuse. A parent abusing their own child—those cases kept me up at night. The idea that a guy running for governor would weaponize that? That the vice president of the United States, who does this phony preacher nonsense about morality, would double down on it? It speaks to how profoundly and pathetically weak JD Vance is. It speaks to the character of Vivek Ramaswamy to attack a victim like that. It's disgusting.

Initially Elon denied slowing down the Starlink data rates and said only the Pentagon had that authority. We don’t like being lied to.
After Elon Musk posted on X saying he had throttled Ukraine’s use of Starlink after it was used for offensive attacks, House Armed Services Committee member Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) says the billionaire’s ability to wield that power is “beyond disturbing to me.” “It cannot and should not be the case that a tech oligarch, a private citizen, who has that much control over our national security, who is unaccountable, who is unelected, with zero transparency, is making life and death decisions on the battlefield in systems that our service members and our partners and allies rely upon,” he adds.

This should not only be a newspaper. This should be every human in America.
The Ramaswamy ad has pushed the largest newspaper in Ohio, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, to reverse its position on endorsements. "A candidate who uses childhood sexual abuse as a weapon against the person who endured it has crossed a line that Ohioans should defend, whatever their party.  We are better than this. We have a responsibility to show it. Today we endorse Democrat Amy Acton for governor." cleveland.com/open/2026/10/w…

I’ll take a shot at answering one of these good questions. These poor young people are not dying for "no reason". They’re dying because Vladimir Putin's Russia invaded Ukraine and Ukrainians don’t want to be murdered. I hope this helps.

Elon Musk found us here. We’re indigenous to this land.
If people dislike Elon Musk so much, why do they still use the platform he owns?

El-Sayed: In my Neurology unit, I would have to give that MOCA exam, that cognitive test he's so proud of… The only people you give that test to are people who you worry may have cognitive deficits. By definition, if you’re taking one of those tests, something is wrong.  And you know the doctor who gave it to him was like, I just want to see how smart you are, sir. And he's like, me too. He brags about having taken it. He's like I remembered the rhinoceros. You're like Habibi, everybody remember the rhinoceros. And the funny thing about it is, you know, he's taken it multiple times. So he's not even bragging about the first time he took it. He's like, I took it the 1st time and then I took it the 2nd time. So with Donald Trump, you can't blame him for this, he's just dumb. But for Mike Rogers, can you imagine how small of a human being you have to be to know that he has real deficits and to just nod your head approvingly at the most ridiculous shit that the man proposes?

New: Sources from three countries confirm that the Trump Administration has advocated Viktor Orbán for UN Secretary-General. The US has encouraged Orbán to enter the race, even bringing him the initial idea of a joint U.S.-Russia-China candidacy. WSJ: wsj.com/opinion/viktor-orban…

Had dinner with the mayor of a mid-size conservative Midwest city tonight. We grew up together in NoVA. It was incredibly enlightening talking to them about the reasons why they took down their ALPRs. While they saw the value in having them and had recently found two missing children with them, they also couldn’t get past the harm that they were starting to see to the community. Difficult decision and great conversation that seems to be happening across the country…red, blue, and purple
