Attention @TomFletcher! This is "Goose" Gossage. My daughter, Jasmine, is ecstatic to learn that something really does rhyme with sausage 🤭 #spaceband

Any decent #COYS folk gone over to the threads side in the last week or so? Need a bit more Spurs love/hate on my timeline over there.

1. You can still twist the cap off if you want to. 2. It's actually more convenient so you don't lose the lid as well as being (supposedly) better for the environment. 3. If you're not completely inept they're really easy to drink round.

We’ve had a closer look at the numbers from the newly-marginal constituency of Tatton. The full story is even more positive for Labour in the long term. Quick 🧵. 🗳️ Ryan received the highest number of votes (18,820) of any second-placed Labour candidate in the country. (1/5)

I have successfully completed (well, okay, completed) 20 years of teaching. Feel like I should at least get a badge or something.

It's kinda funny that they've actually adopted the phrase "supermajority" which is entirely meaningless in British politics. Much like the Tories will be in 24 hours' time.
👟 Head to your polling station ✅ Bring ID 🇬🇧 Vote Conservative 🛑 Stop the Labour supermajority

I did a democracy. Felt good to be voting for a progressive candidate who has a real chance of winning, and beating one of the nastiest representatives of the Nasty Party. I've only ever voted in a Safe Seat before so will be very excited to see the result from Tatton come in.

It’s time, Tatton. Vote for change tomorrow. Polls show that only Labour can defeat the Conservatives here. Vote Labour. Vote Ryan Jude.🗳️🌹

I realise many of you out there are frustrated with the choices you’re being offered by both Labour and the LibDems. But surely we can agree that they are preferable to the Tories? If you live in a constituency with a sitting Conservative MP, as I do, 7/8

Two days to go people, two days to go. No one's saying Labour will be perfect, and they will fully deserve to be held under intense scrutiny when they take power. But they can't be anywhere near as bad as what we've had.

It is for you though.

I'm all for progressive politics and have been known to vote Green in my time, but this is quite frankly unhinged.

Makes about as much sense as most of what this shower of shit have come up with over the last 14 years.

I would be totally on board with this. I might actually try and find some for the rest of this week.
25°C+ and we're still wearing suit trousers?! It's about time to normalise this summer attire for male teachers in secondary schools. #Edutwitter

Hmmm, on further reflection I'm not sure my shoe collection would be suitable for this look. I supposed I *could* buy some new shoes too.

*If you want to get rid of the Iain Duncan Smith vote Faiza Shaheen.* Just over two weeks ago we launched our campaign to elect an independent MP for Chingford & Woodford Green. Since then our people-powered campaign has reached all parts of the constituency, with hundreds of volunteers knocking on doors and speaking directly with voters. These are the results. Firm promises for the Faiza Shaheen campaign are higher than both Conservative and Labour.
