We have asked @KURAroads to justify the proliferation of illegal motor vehicle bazars along road reserves on Ngong Road or take necessary enforcement steps to remove the same, failing which, legal action to ensure compliance will be taken.
Maladministration and bad governance has become deep rooted in Kenya because we the People tolerate it, and leaders are unaccountable. We must protest and demand accountability and integrity at every level of Government for there to be change.

Motorists in Nairobi usually do not give the right-of-way to pedestrians, so paint is not enough to ensure safety at crossings. We need to incorporate traffic calming to slow down vehicles.
Check out this example of a tabletop crossing from Kisumu.

Kudos @SakajaJohnson for this bold zebra crossings marks along Harambee Ave at the junction with Moi Ave.There is need for more investment in such infrastructures in the CBD to enhance safety of #pedestrians.

Kenyans will cook you alive. I think we are getting worse by the day.
Kenyans on X can roasted you with a rude joke smiling, but they will hate you for eternity. There’s no come back.
They don’t care for an apology. You said what you said, you now understand that only Kenyans can hate on themselves.
Reading the comments is entertainment for days… Bigotry has its rewards, enjoy KOX, now they know your name.

From an urban planning perspective, trees deliver real value:
1. Improve mental health
2. Increase biodiversity
3. Make public spaces comfortable
4. Reduce urban heat
We are better off with trees than without.

Nairobi should have better roads AND more trees, not fewer. 🌳 Why must road upgrades come at the expense of our green spaces? Let’s pursue development that protects nature and keeps our city green. #SaveOurTrees #Nairobi

Lower State House Road has the least traffic. What justification is there in felling 50 years old ornamental trees to dual the road?
Yesterday they deceived us that they are planting 15 billion trees. The day before, Kindiki Kithure was threatening a road contractor with Court action for delayed delivery. The point is this: there is no need for some of these road constructions which require wanton destruction of trees. It is an elaborate scheme to plunder public money at the expense of the environment.

We should see a tree plan like this in every @KURAroads and @KeNHAKenya urban street project.

Last week a person who came after me with all he thought he had told me to stop acting like a victim using a pseudo account, at the time I answered him with wits & contempt it deserved, but then there after I thought about it some more?
What’s a victim? Yes, I was a victim when I suffered in silent, but when he provoked me, I spoke up, and I was no longer a victim, without knowing it, he had awaken a version of me I didn’t know I could awaken, so I’m no longer a victim, I know my rights and I honestly I want to encourage more residents wherever they may be and may be going though one thing or another at the hands of anyone who makes your home unpleasant, to speak up when they face bulling and intimidation from those who feel they have the power to do as they wish because they can get away with it.
Be it a developer, a bar, club, restaurant or anyone that takes your peace. Protect your peace.
I enjoy a calm quiet life, but that doesn’t mean I’m mute and helpless, I will fight back with everything I’ve got. Take your power back.
Have a blessed and productive week ahead.
They will be sorted after election, it’s became crazy driving on that road especially how they crisscross to park in-between the road at the interjection of ABC Place.
Dear @KeNHAKenya, kindly take a drive along the Redhill Bypass and see what is happening.
The pedestrian walkways and paths are slowly being taken over by tuk tuks, while small stalls and vibandas are mushrooming along the entire bypass. Why can’t we have an organised way of accommodating eateries and small businesses, as we see along major highways in many of the countries we constantly say we want to emulate?
Meanwhile, our national failures @ntsa_kenya can happily come and arrest pedestrians while ignoring the lawlessness happening right in front of them.
The damage being done to the infrastructure and kerbs is clearly visible, with tuk tuks and boda bodas illegally crossing the bypass and creating stages along the road.
Incompetence, corruption and lack of enforcement are slowly destroying what was once a beautiful and organised city. At this rate, I will not be surprised to see full markets, boda stages and tuk tuk termini mushrooming along the entire bypass. We watch disorder begin, allow it to become normal, then wonder how we got here.

I remember so vividly how this stretch looked back then, and I honestly miss driving down Waiyaki Way, it breezy and beautiful.
We take for granted the importance of trees, especially along a highways. Thousands of trees were sacrificed for the expressway, even though I use the expressway religiously, I can’t help but to wonder, if it would have been better if the tees had won and stayed there… I wonder…
