We’re pleased to hear that our sister union @sagaftra has approved a tentative agreement with the AMPTP and that the strike has been suspended.   Solidarity with all who stood strong during this action and we wish @sagaftra the best as they deliberate the contents of this deal.

Equity UK will support SAG-AFTRA and its members by all lawful means. Because of existing anti-trade union laws in the UK, SAG-AFTRA members currently working under an Equity UK collective bargaining agreement should continue to report to work. Equity UK will support SAG-AFTRA’s refusal to issue new Global Rule One addenda that undermine the strike during the pendency of the strike. We welcome the announcement from @ace_national that up to £24 million will be made available for @E_N_O to apply to be funded in 2024-26. This is a huge improvement on the November offer & has only been achieved through the campaigning of our members & in the workforce
