The equivalent of 890 RTX 5090s, 3,200 Ryzen CPUs and 1,000+ ASICs is securing the @tari network. The $XTM market cap? ~$9M 🐢
DNC took a snapshot of today's hashrate across Tari's mining lanes and priced up the hardware behind it:
· GPU lane: ~890 RTX 5090s, ~$3.4M
· CPU lane: ~3,200 Ryzen 9 CPUs, ~$1.6M
· ASIC lane: ~1,060 dedicated miners, ~$1.1M
That's ~$6M of dedicated hardware... and that's before $XMR miners, who also secure Tari through merge mining. To attack the chain, you'd need to overpower several lanes at once, @monero's included.
The Ootle launches 11.11 on a network that's already battle-ready. The market just hasn't priced it in yet.

FYI, this is how @nonkyc_exchange responds when a user formally disputes a 50.74% cut to his balance.
Name-calling, laughing emojis, and "you should be happy you got at least 50%." Comical customer service from an exchange holding people's funds.
Really sorry you had to deal with this @Terence120513, you didn't deserve it.
Exchanges like this are nothing more than bucket shops. I encourage every @tari community member to self-custody. Not your keys, not your crypto 🐢

Great cooperation between Outruna and @Erebus_Lab improved watch-only wallet support has been merged upstream into tari-l1-wasm.
Outruna already uses the upstream library directly, so our current build no longer ships any customized vendor files.

We built a Tari wallet that runs entirely in your browser, with Ootle built in.
No install, no chain sync. Keys are generated and every transaction is signed locally in WebAssembly.

Your Ootle account comes from the same 24-word phrase.
Private and public sends, shield and unshield, and a catalogue of Ootle apps. dApps connect through window.tari, the same API as the Sapient extension, and you approve every transaction.
Self-custodial by design: your seed is encrypted on the device with your PIN, settings ask for it every time, and the wallet auto-locks.
Tested end to end on Esmeralda. Open source, CPAL-1.0.
