Adding a quarterback at the trade deadline is “on the table” for the Vikings per @JamesPalmerTV 👀
The Vikings are going to start Carson Wentz Monday night against the Bills. Kyler Murray is dealing with a hamstring injury and is week to week. Could Minnesota look to add a QB before the deadline? My report on our @NFLonPrime postgame show.

Barring a meltdown (or a trade), Carson Wentz should get an extended leash to move forward as the Vikings' starting quarterback, even when Kyler Murray is healthy.

I think people are hating guys like @thorku and @PhilMackey because they are starting to realize they were right about damn near everything 😭🤣 #SKOL

Meanwhile, in New York.
The Vikings' biggest offseason priority is not a new starting quarterback. It's a new offensive play-caller who will call the offense for that quarterback.

Carson Wentz is the new Sam Darnold is the new Case Keenum is the new Brett Favre is the new Jeff George is the new Randall Cunningham?

Is anybody else bored by this?
Can we get somebody on the coaching staff that can either evaluate quarterbacks, develop quarterbacks, or effectively play-call for quarterbacks?
Please? For the love of god?

#Vikings QB Kyler Murray is ranked 36/38 among QB’s this season in terms of the amount of intermediate and deep throws attempted over the middle of the field, @alec_lewis mentioned via @VikingsHMA. He is only ahead of Tyler Shough and Marcus Mariota (min 50 passes).

Kevin O'Connell's decision to punt on fourth and five with 3:01 to play in a 19-15 game showed a lack of trust in Kyler Murray to get the first down. If you don't trust your QB in that spot, you need a different QB.
