Does anyone know what happened to The Trap Draw: Episode 97?
I’m working on part 1 of an oral history on No Laying Up and want to include when they had their good friend who is a convicted pedophile on.
Thanks in advance.
Even Kiz the dummy sniffed out Rory’s hypocrisy on this one
🚨💰🏌️#MONEY BALL — Speaking on the @ForePlayPod, Kevin Kisner calls out Rory McIlroy for his previous comments about wanting to grow the game globally, insisting Rory’s in India this week for the appearance fee he allegedly receives
Kiz: “That is such a dog sh!t comment, but I guess for the right price, we could all say that comment (about growing the game). He doesn’t want to globally expand in India, he wants to get his $10 million bucks and go play in India.”
Kiz: “…I know there’s a pile of guys that got paid for that event. How else would you get that event in India with eight billion people in the middle of the city? And Rory’s not even hitting a driver this week. You think he wants to go play a tournament where he can’t use his number one weapon? So give me a break.”
Riggs: “The whole thing's an appearance. It's not he's not like, you know what? I can't wait to go play really far away. And while I'm there, uh, management team, could you book me like a public appearance where I can talk about live and all that? Because I would like there's just no fucking chance. So, so yeah, obviously they're getting paid to be there and good for them. I wouldn't say no to that, you know, for sure. I understand it. But it is funny when it gets painted as like this altruistic move to grow the game in another part of the world. I laugh at that every time.”
Kiz: “They always seem to say the right things while they’re over there. As part of your appearance fee, here’s your script for altruism, and you need to mention these four lines in whatever interview you do throughout the week. Which is totally fine, I’d do it too, and all of us on this podcast would. I just find it hilarious when you can pop up and play an event where Rory McIlroy can’t hit his driver, and all those guys show up, and nobody’s like, ‘alright, this is stupid’, whenever they can go play the sickest course in the world, and none of them show up. It’s just very odd to me.”
Do you agree with Kiz?

I've said for over 4 years now that the main reason Rory was anti liv was because it hurt tgl and his future earnings.. imagine being one of those brainwashed Rory fanboys who has defended him for years just to see him contradict and discredit everything he's ever said
Golf Media Mythology: Rory McIlroy, the selfless guardian of PGA TOUR tradition, was fighting LIV for “the soul of golf.”
IRL: Ahead of the DP World India Championship, at a Bloomberg Forum, “RORS” admits the motivation was mostly related to personal greed as LIV posed a threat to his goofy virtual golf league, TGL.⛳️💰
The “soul of golf” was apparently Rory’s investment portfolio.

PGA TOUR establishment: “Hey, whatever happened to Abe Ancer?”
Also establishment: blocked LIV from OWGR, choked off major access, then watched players disappear from rankings.
A real whodunnit mystery.🤨

Think I’m all set on KVV speaking for all golf fans. Rory had like four majors before he was even a fan of the game.
I’ll circle back if I’m looking for the thoughts of someone cosplaying as a knowledgeable golf fan.
Jon Rahm will not be a part of LIV 2.0.
@KVanValkenburg on what it means for the world of golf, Rahm's legacy, and his future on the PGA Tour.

Nothing says “marquee international event” like a Golf Channel preview of the Presidents Cup with 57 LIVE viewers.
My wife’s sourdough starter group chat is bigger. 😂

Not the first to point this out but I feel like Tyrell Hatton’s and Shane Lowry’s public perceptions are the converse of reality.
Tyrell is the happy plump fellow who has a horrible temper but seldom crosses the line of impropriety. Shane is the plump dickhead.

I’ve been made aware that members of No Laying Up said on a recent podcast that I have been reporting bad news from LIV Golf because I was “waiting for some payments to come in.” They have also regularly insinuated for 4 years that I have been paid for covering the league and I have now “flipped”.
This is completely false.
While I shouldn’t have to defend myself against these accusations. Due to the size of their platform I felt I had to address it.
I do not make any money from Flushing It Golf outside of the minor ad revenue share from social media platforms and I never have. There’s been plenty of opportunities to sell out for financial incentives, but I’ve rejected every single offer.
I’ve never shared this publicly, but my motivation to start this account came after Covid as an outlet to get away from serious issues I had in my personal life that I was struggling to deal with.
It began as a meme account, but has taken many different forms in its short existence to where I now try my hardest to share interesting news stories in as factual a way as possible with extensive sourcing.
I know it’s hard for some people to believe, but I am literally just a tradesman from the UK who is obsessed with golf. So I talk about it online and I really enjoy it.
Thanks to you all for following. I really appreciate it.
Tom 👍
Not one single X opinion/report on Tiger Woods’ court decision today from any of @NoLayingUp @ForePlayPod @eamonlynch or @chambleebrandel lol 😂
No big deal, I guess 🤷♀️ sometimes the silence is louder than the noise.
