He earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart before returning home to pursue law. In 2001, only one week into the job as the 6th Director of the F.B.I., Bob transitioned the agency mission to protecting the homeland after September 11. The City is contractually obligated to fund the employee healthcare account.
The City is currently telling the Healthcare Committee of City employees that they don't have the money to repay a funding shortfall of $11-15 million.
City Council is giving themselves a raise.
The Rochester City Council voted 5-4 to increase the pay of its members at last night's meeting by 25%.
While some supported the raise, other members opposed it.
