My partner RoCo also uses a manual wheelchair, but Sheffield hills are A LOT. E-motion wheels would give them so much independence and energy back. Unfortunately, life changing tech doesn't come cheap.

It has everything you need to support people through the gruelling process of applying for PIP, whether that's a loved one, someone from your community, or a total stranger!

While I've been quiet on here, I've still been doing disability activism in other forms. My partner RoCo and I have been running mutual aid trainings to support people to advocate for people applying for PIP. We put a booklet together on it which is free:

This booklet has now been updated and version 2 is nearly twice as long! We've tried to make it more useful for folks who can't make it to one of our trainings

The PIP process is long and stressful and humiliating and we want to make it as easy as possible, help people get the benefits they deserve, and make sure no one has to go through the horrid process alone.
We hope to be running more trainings (hybrid Sheffield/Online) in July

I know Richard would have loved RoCo, and would have been so excited for them to get a powered adaption for their 'chair that really works for them and lets them go fast!

Got the Handcycle @LEGO_Group #minifigures today! Wanted it a lot! No paralympian medals on mine as he uses his Handcycle for everyday cycling not just sport stuff - in memory of an incredible #cycle campaigner @CrippledCyclist - a real champion in my #cyclingforeveryone book.
