Europe faces a defining choice: appease Russia and reward aggression, or stand firm in defending Ukraine, freedom and Europe's security.
Peace cannot be built on concessions to an aggressor. It must be secured through strength, unity and resolve.

Does Putin feel more pressure to end his war today than yesterday?
Does he understand that he must abandon his ambitions for Ukraine and Europe? That every day of delay worsens his position? That time is against him and Europe’s resolve will not waver?
If the answer is anything less than an unequivocal yes, we have not made the most of the past 24 hours.
Time to make the next 24 count.

Only increased pressure on Russia will make it take peace negotiations seriously.
Every contact with Russia must convey Europe’s unity and determination to support Ukraine and maintain pressure on Russia, while making clear that Europe will not negotiate away the fundamental principles underpinning its security.
Ukraine wants peace, and Estonia supports all efforts to achieve it. But there is no indication that Russia has changed its strategic objectives or is genuinely interested in negotiations.
Russia’s goal is not merely to seize parts of Ukraine, but to subjugate the entire country and undermine Europe’s security order, founded on NATO and the EU.
A just and lasting peace requires increased pressure on Russia, tighter sanctions, action against sanctions evasion, Russia’s international isolation and unwavering support for Ukraine.
We must show Russia through concrete action that, as long as its war continues, pressure will remain strong and Ukraine’s supporters will not abandon it.

Russia’s interference with satellite navigation signals is not just a technical issue, but a deliberate act. It puts aviation and maritime safety across Europe at risk.
Russia must stop these harmful disruptions and respect its international obligations.
Russia🇷🇺 continues to disturb 🛰️ satellite and GNSS signals, affecting 10 European countries' critical infrastructure and services. ➡️ Ahead of the next ITU #RRB (26-30 Oct), we strongly condemn these unacceptable actions and call on Russia to stop. #StopRussianJamming

Europe’s greatest weakness is not a lack of resources. It is that our ability to formulate and pursue a strategy of our own has atrophied.
Little wonder. Throughout the Cold War, Western Europe had little need to do so. Eastern Europe was not allowed to.
Time to relearn the art. And put it into practice. Above all, in Ukraine.
Because what is decided there is not just Ukraine’s future. It is, to a great extent, Europe’s.
