The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball.
They are doing things that have become unusual.
They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for.
They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals.
They have a hitting coach that was an overachieving player for skill that played in the big leagues.
They hit the ball the other way.
They value putting the ball in play.
They adjust their approach based on situation and count.
They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit.
They bunt and steal bases.
They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities.
The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.

In Virginia, democrat politicians are trying to make it legal to abort an unborn baby at this age.
The only difference is the child’s location.

Coach Noel Rash (2006-22, 26) compiled a record of 193-46 and won 8 state championships in his first 17 seasons at Beechwood. Overall record is 197-53, and after a 3 year hiatus as the Tigers HBC, tonight Noel climbs back in the saddle to once again lead the Tigers! Giddy Up

We say this every year - but it’s true
“This is exactly what I want my offensive linemen to look like.”
Receding hairline, two kids at home, and the face of a man who’s about to punch the clock for a 15-hour shift in the coal mines - lunch pail in hand. Pure blue-collar grit.

Good afternoon,
Beechwood High School would like to share an important announcement regarding the Beechwood Tigers Football program. Coach Jay Volker recently accepted a teaching position in Ohio to be closer to his family. With that said, he aimed to continue his role as Beechwood head football coach to maintain continuity this late in the year since football workouts begin June 1st. We are fortunate to have Coach Volker continue to model such professionalism and dedication to the program.
Beechwood Administration and Beechwood Athletics have been in discussions with Coach Volker about the vision and future of Beechwood Football. In that lengthy collaboration, we have all agreed to move forward with recommending the appointment of Mr. Noel Rash as the next coach of Beechwood Football.
Coach Volker and Coach Rash have been working together to ensure a smooth transition for the program. Due to the timing of Coach Volker’s departure and the nature of the situation, Beechwood Schools has moved forward with the appointment of Coach Rash.
Beechwood Schools regards Jay Volker alongside Coach Berry, Coach Yeagle, and Coach Rash as yet another state champion football coach. We thank Jay in not only maintaining, but elevating the commitment, the sacrifice, and the brotherhood - THE standard of Beechwood Football. Coach Volker’s legacy has been etched.
At the same time, we welcome back Coach Noel Rash to Beechwood Football. Thrilled is an understatement in how the Tiger Football family is feeling right now. A legend is coming home only to build upon that legacy he worked so hard to build.
Coach Rash is excited to work with Coach Volker and the coaching staff in a transition plan in order to hit the ground running on June 1, 2026.
Go Tigers!

Alabama is the only program in Ohio State's league.
But OSU still gets the edge.
In the last 25 years:
Each school has seasons of 7-5 and 6-7.
If we cancel those out, their worst seasons are:
ALABAMA
3-8
4-9
6-6
7-6
20-29 (.408)
OHIO STATE
8-4
8-4
10-3
10-2
36-13 (.735)
When both programs are at their worst, Ohio State wins 32.7% more than Alabama.
Ohio State has won 3 national championships with 3 different coaches.
Alabama has won 6 national championships with 1 coach.
3 coaches winning titles is a testament to the Ohio State program.
1 coach winning titles is a testament to Nick Saban.
Ohio State has the best program in America. Only 1 program is close, and it’s a free-fall from Everest to whatever tier is below them.
