I still remember when I sat in ULA headquarters and their lead mechanical engineer explained to us that reusability was in fact impossible, or more precisely, that the amount of extra fuel and equipment would render net payload reduced to zero. Impossible is a funny word. $TSLA xitter.cf/SpaceX/status/99503690…

$TSLA revenues for the past 4 years by quarter. There are literally -0- Tesla Bulls who would have thought this level of stagnation in revenue was possible for each of the last 4 years.

@robotaxi since this wasn't covered on the earnings call. Can we have additional detail on when this coming soon for these new cities might happen? Are we waiting on FSD v15? Or is this imminent? Or year end or what? Coming soon is a bit vague for @TeslaSI. We have seen "Add Pothole Avoidance and Expand reasoning to all behaviors beyond destination handling" for months now in the release notes. @aelluswamy @TeslaSI

Can someone explain why it’s ok to advertise Starlink during MLB playoff games but never Tesla? This is a rhetorical question because there is no good answer.

Which class are the super voting ones?
The $SPCX 10-Q confirms 230 million Class B shares were converted to Class A during Q3, but no details, and no filings from Elon Musk it seems. @TeslaBoomerMama

And by 2028 SpaceX will be ahead of everyone forever.
This is the last quarter Tesla will make more revenue than SpaceX. After this, SpaceX will always be ahead.

Tesla may have just passed Waymo in Austin. Tesla: 438K driverless miles in the week to Oct 18 Waymo: 406K/week (Q2 2026, its latest data) Different periods, so Waymo’s next release will give a better picture. robotaxitracker.com/miles

Tesla has Optimus 3 bots comin off the high volume production line but unfortunately China will make Optimus 3 one week after they show it to us so they can’t show it. They actually can’t even show it after they start selling it. Even when you buy one, you’re not going to be allowed to look at it. If you look at it or take pictures of it after you buy it, you will go to prison for sharing secrets with China. Unfortunate but I don’t make the rules.

We just heard that FSD Unsupervised is real going to be limited to Robotaxi service only. I think the dream of having Unsupervised FSD in your own car just died. It was all BS. No sleeping in your car on the way to work, or on road trips. The only way you get Unsupervised FSD is in a Robotaxi. I don’t like this.

Truth. $TSLA
I’m listening to the Tesla call now, and realizing that nothing any of these guys are saying means anything to me at all. And I love these guys, genuinely. I think they just messed up by being so carelessly bullish on all of these products without actually knowing whether anything they said would come true when they said it would. I wish I could care about what they say, but it’s just totally meaningless now because of how many times I’ve heard them say things that didn’t actually come true. You’d have to be some level of delusional to hear them say “next year, next summer, Q2 2027” and feel any genuine excitement or belief that it’ll actually come true. Love em, but it’s their fault that this is true. Nothing I can do about it unless I’m willing to be irrational and not pay attention to data and obvious patterns. I do fully believe in this company and do think they are on a warpath that they will win. But these calls are just a total joke and waste of time really. You can’t actually take anything said in them seriously.

Mike has a point here, and the trauma from the 2024 Q4 call is real. Tesla has to find a way to gain back our trust. It is so damaging that even when what they say is not bullshit, like the verifiable Robotaxi ramp, totally in line with what Ashok was saying in July, this does not have an impact because trust is lost. I am 100% sure Robotaxi is now scaling, I am confident because I see it happening in reality. But most people don't even see that because the lack of trust is so deep that even facts cannot convince them anymore. What would go a long way is some explanation on why they were so bullish on this 2024 Q4 call, what changed and why. Which technical problem was encountered that was unexpected and delayed Robotaxi? We can understand this, if we get an explanation. Same for Optimus, they decided to go to v3, it delayed everything, but why exactly?

I’m not sure what I’d do as a CEO if this occurred to me but I think I’d maybe reflect to see what I could do different next time. Maybe I’d ask people around me that I respect what I could do better. I don’t know the solution but I wouldn’t want this to be what I’m known for with every earnings calls that I’m in charge of. $tsla @Tesla

It’s got to suck cancelling future cars with steering wheels then admitting on a $TSLA earnings call that the cars without steering wheels will primarily be transport-as-a-service and Tesla-owned, and that the cars people will buy will be the 3 and Y.
