It's a tough situation but I believe you are correct. The best deals are reached at the table. Treat people like they are essential and they will live up to it, if given the chance. Force it on them and they will resist it for a long time.

Update: we decided to join the party Mr. Minister. Some highlights include; support from other ALPA members, one of which flew from Calgary solely for our event & PAL mgmt ducking for cover when realizing just who was standing in the lobby holding picket signs

Glad that you're there for them. Don't worry about us here at home, you tied our hands pretty good before you left. I'm sure we will still be in the same mess when you get home. @PALBorealisMEC @PilotReid28 @WandaYYT @colbez @newfie_chaos

An agreement here seems ESSENTIAL eh b’y?
@TeamstersRail watch out for this one! No matter your due diligence thru negotiations this minister will side with employer & block any imminent labour action at 11th hr! Even if you have a 100% mandate 🤷🏻♂️ isn’t that right Mr. Minister?

Why don’t you meet with the workers and unions in your own home province and get a partnership to start the second phase of muskrat falls ?

@SeamusORegan you wouldn’t take the question from our ALPA media spokesperson, your communication cordinator turned us away! our question was as minister responsible for the interference of our negotiations would you sit down with our union palpilots.ca

A Poilievre government will scrap the carbon tax so you don’t have to pay more for gas, groceries and home heating.

according to employer part of the reason for length of bargaining is the fact they are/were negotiating with 5 groups. I don’t doubt that that is challenging. Point is, 5 groups organizing inside a year says plenty about our corporate mgmt @jptrainor @PhilipEarle @exchangeincome

I see @top_employers does not include employee testimony under the selection process section of their website. Nor the sizeable filing fee

Why don’t you sit down with members of our union that are part of the supply chain. The same union you tampered with the bargaining process recently. At least have the decency to back your labour mandate!

Tweets are good and all but an open and honest discussion about the problems we are facing would go along way to put this matter to bed.
