This is the menu I asked Claude to sort out for Friday's barbecue. It's also the only part of it that fits in a photo. Last Thursday, @ermirbeqiraj and I showed @juanferrub what shopping looks like when an agent handles all of it. The setting was a demo butcher's shop we built on @shopware, with our @FD_XYZ Prism gateway handling payments through x402 rails. Three things were on trial. One: speech. I used my voice on purpose, because it's the most natural way a human expresses intent. So I rambled at my laptop for three minutes, doubled back, forgot the vegan guest and remembered mid-flow. "Barbecue Friday, fifteen people, terrace. Premium grass-fed cuts. Two don't eat beef, sort something out. Some appetisers. Oh, and one's vegan, almost forgot. Don't order anything yet." Two: whether Claude reasons about what I actually care about. Quantities for fifteen. Lamb and Vietnamese chicken for the two who don't eat beef, checked against live stock. Picanha, blue cheese and red onion burgers, a cheese board to start. And when the shop carried nothing vegan, it said so and told me to buy it locally rather than fudge it to close the sale. Three: checkout. Claude placed the order, paid from an Agent Wallet it was authorised to spend from, and the shop's wallet was credited in seconds. No card, no checkout page. Testnet, so the only thing that wasn't real was the money. That's the part we build. We were so taken with the menu Claude came up with that none of us paid the checkout any attention, and nobody at that barbecue will either. What I wanted out of Friday was fifteen friends round a table, properly good meat, and nobody left out. Not a payment flow. That's what we mean when we say we're making finance disappear, so you can focus on what actually matters.

Most ecosystem work so far has been seller-side - protocols, merchant integrations. At @FD_XYZ we're focused on the other side: making sure the agent, the actual consumer has a first-class experience. That's our lane.
