One thing that's puzzled me about Bryce Young's excellent 2026 is how efficient he's been in virtually every category... despite a league-worst catchable-throw rate (66.7%). How is this possible? Bryce is attempting 13.4 passes per game of 10 or more air yards, 3rd in the NFL behind Matthew Stafford and CJ Stroud. Obviously, those throws are harder to make accurately — but he’s completed 57.1% of them (compared to 21.3% for Stafford). It turns out, he leads the league BY FAR in throwaways -- 5.2 per game. He's been willing to live another down as opposed to forcing a potential turnover (he's 4th-best in turnover-worthy throw rate). It's a wild profile, but it's one that's fun to watch.
