Palestine’s olive harvest is a tradition passed down through generations, rooted in thousands of years of history. Our olive trees are more than a source of food and livelihood. They are symbols of our identity, our connection to the land, and our steadfastness. Support Gaza here: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Every harvest brings families and communities together to pick olives, share breakfast, and celebrate traditions our ancestors practiced long before us. On October 8, our team gathered with children from the Refaat Alareer Camp on agricultural land in Nuseirat to continue this cherished Palestinian tradition. Despite three years of genocide, displacement, and destruction, our people continue to preserve what the occupation has tried to erase. Our roots run deep. Our traditions endure. Our land is our identity. Help The Sameer Project stand with Palestinians in Gaza and support our General Fund: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Other ways to donate include: paypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "GENERAL") account.venmo.com/u/Maher-Al… (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "GENERAL")

Ro, what do you mean Israel needs “new leadership”? All of Netanyahu’s major opposition have pledged to defend the settlements. The only differences are cosmetic and about disciplining the more vulgar elements around the margins. All the opposition also supports genocide in Gaza.
I am waiting for @netanyahu and @Isaac_Herzog to pipe in calling Brad Lander a liar who is staging a photo up. Or maybe Mr. Witkoff will be brazen enough to compliment Netanyahu & Herzog as great humanitarians like Putin & Trump. The world needs a new generation of leadership!

While distributing water in honor of the martyr Mohammad Tammous, our team stopped at a school in Tal al-Zaatar, Beit Lahia, where students took a moment to honor his memory - the first martyr of October 7, 2026, three full years of genocide. Mohammad was a friend of The Sameer Project. We collaborated with him and the Civil Defense on several initiatives, and he had hoped to join our team as a field worker in Beit Lahia. He was known throughout this community for his courage, kindness, and faith. It was only fitting that the students of this community had the opportunity to remember him. Our team distributed juice and biscuits to 54 students in his honor, continuing his legacy of service and compassion, for a nominal cost The Sameer Project not only serves Gaza, our team members are part of the communities we assist, they feel the pain of the genocide yet wake up the next day and continue on. Continue to our General Fund to allow Palestinians to support Palestinians: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Other ways to donate include: paypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "GENERAL") account.venmo.com/u/Maher-Al… (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "GENERAL")

“For over a week, trucks carrying vegetables, fruit, and frozen food have also been prevented from entering Gaza.” Ceaseless genocide.
Please, I urge the world to take this tweet seriously. A new famine is literally being created in Gaza. Free food distribution has almost completely stopped, major aid organizations have suspended their services, and now the World Food Programme, a key source of flour and canned food for hundreds of thousands of people here, has announced the suspension of its assistance. For over a week, trucks carrying vegetables, fruit, and frozen food have also been prevented from entering Gaza. Food supplies are shrinking, everything entering Gaza is being tightly controlled, and food queues are growing frighteningly long. We are already witnessing the signs of another hunger catastrophe. Families are losing their food sources one by one. Please, don't wait until people are dying of hunger again before you act. The world must act now.

Why is @DavidShoebridge virtually the only Australian politician fighting the obvious and very dangerous national security threat to Australia from Israel’s spying and political interference?
ICYMI an Israeli company hijacked online ads to track millions of devices and open the door to zero-click spyware, with our nuclear science agency, critical infrastructure and newsrooms compromised. This is a big deal.

A Senate Inquiry into Red Lines would allow public engagement in a matter of national interest: Aus’s baseline obligations under int law to divest from genocide & illegal occupation. Union & community advocacy will now be instrumental in dragging Labor towards genuine democracy.
#auspol @SenatorWong Less than 48 hours after it was introduced, Liberal and Labor have joined forces to vote down the "Red Lines" legislation. The bills were designed to ensure that Australia doesn’t fund, arm, or invest in illegal settlements, war crimes, or genocide.

The 4 laws comprising the Red Lines Package, if enacted, would embed domestic legal safeguards (rather than locally unenforceable int human rights obligations) around public investment/procurement, defence exports & corporate/institutional accountability. redlinespackage.com.au/view-…

History will judge @SenatorWong as just another craven bureaucrat with blood on her hands, but action *in the moment* (e.g. sanctions as soon as our ally committed such a brazen Geneva Convention violation as bombing a civilian hospital) would’ve prevented incalculable slaughter.

Three years ago today. Israel received the message from the international community that it could target hospitals and slaughter civilians and healthcare workers.

Indisputable (and should be guiding) yet rarely expressed principles of journalism:
Former SBS journalist @MaryKostakidis has warned in a timely speech that growing popular discontent "can’t be controlled with repressive institutional behaviour and authoritarian legislative measures". "Just as you can’t stop an oppressed group of people from rising up against its oppressors, the rest of us can’t allow our conscience to be criminalised, and so we will not be intimidated into silence." deepcutnews.com/p/how-gaza-e…

“Our solidarity must be felt, and our demands heard. We need arms embargoes, boycotts, divestments and sanctions with real teeth.”
This week marks 3 years of Israel’s live-streamed genocide. 1,100 days of Israel’s genocide have passed, yet the killing continues. And it’s not just in Gaza. In the West Bank right now, state backed “settlers”/terrorists are burning, illegally seizing land, and terrorising families with full military protection. Israel is also committing genocide in southern Lebanon, including my family’s village of Bint Jbeil. Join your local rally on October 11th to march for the Global Day of Action for Gaza. Take to the streets on 11 October, joining people around the world for the Global Day of Action for Palestine. Our solidarity must be felt, and our demands heard. We need arms embargoes, boycotts, divestments and sanctions with real teeth. We need political consequences that actually hurt these genocidal bastards. We need to end Australia’s complicity in genocide. We need to smash through the media complicity. Fuck the Zionist lobby and their supporters. Fuck genocide apologists. Stand for Palestinian freedom and liberation. Bring your friends, your family and your determination. Find your local rally and show up for Palestine. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. Long live the resistance! Glory to the martyrs!✊🏽❤️

The only reason there is violence in Palestine is Israeli terrorism and occupation, and the aid they receive from the West.

The only reason that there’s violence in Judea and Samaria is because of Arab hostility and the aid they receive from mercenaries like you.

The occupation in a photo.
Currently in al-Mughayyir, 10+ soldiers here to protect 3 settlers, one of them armed, as they pick olives from Palestinian trees. All roads in/out have been closed 7+ hours, but settlers still allowed in to steal the harvest. Soldiers now raiding houses, too, and fired two shots
