This video is not old - it was taken on October 24th, 2026, in Gaza. Give to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… Why are people desperate for a bag of bread after the closure of borders for a few days only? Here’s what the international media is NOT telling you: - The military occupation allows a maximum of 200 trucks in per day, instead of the 600 minimum needed. So what enters is barely enough for two million people for a few days. - A lot of the trucks entering have luxury items instead of basic needs like chocolate, instant noodles, fizzy drinks and coal! Rebuilding material, medical equipment, and caravans are prohibited. - Palestinians in Gaza can’t store much food because there are no fridges or freezers, and due to the lack of space in tents. - HUGE reduction of community kitchens and food packages from international organizations like WFP and WCK, and the alleged reason is lack of funds. - Around 90% of Palestinians in Gaza don’t have consistent income and rely fully on community kitchens to survive. - The military occupation facilitates war profiteering and theft by the militias at the yellow line who steal tents and tarps, and sell them for high prices. Also some traders store tents and wait till it rains to sell at higher prices. The fact that a video like this is emerging from Gaza in its fourth year in genocide is a testament to our failure. Each and every one of us outside the Gaza Strip holds responsibility towards this horrific scene. It’s not just about providing assistance. It’s about HOW that assistance is delivered. Give to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… For The Sameer Project, dignity, respect, kindness, and compassion guide everything we do. We treat the people we serve the same way we would treat our own families, because that is exactly how they deserve to be treated. Here this man, a health supervisor from Al-Maadani Hospital, speaks about the importance of our free bus services for children, patients, and families, but also something equally meaningful: the kindness and care shown by our team. Our buses provide more than transportation. They provide relief, dignity, and the reassurance that someone cares. Support our free transportation program. An engineered famine does not just starve people today. It leaves lasting damage on the body, sometimes for a lifetime. Please help: chuffed.org/project/136892-m… Babies are deprived of essential nutrients when malnourished mothers struggle to breastfeed. Children risk irreversible developmental harm, failing to meet physical growth and cognitive milestones. The elderly face worsening chronic illnesses, while medications that must be taken with food become another danger when there is nothing to eat. Starvation is not just an empty stomach. It is the destruction of health, development, and survival across generations. At The Sameer Project’s Tawbah Clinic in Jabalia, our medical team sees these consequences every day. We monitor malnutrition, manage chronic diseases, treat complications, and provide ongoing care to patients whose health continues to deteriorate under these conditions. Palestinians in Gaza are fed up. Open borders or closed borders, they don’t even have the energy to react. After 3 years of genocide and famine, the reaction from people for the border closure is apathy. Support Gaza now: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… It is our role to provide sustenance and to fight for borders opening and end of genocide. This is not the responsibility of people in genocide who are being killed daily with our tax money. The Sameer Project is still able to make bread. On October 18th, we gave out 414 bags of bread in Deir El Balah to the following camps: Silwan, Safa and Sahel. Total cost was $918, including the 11% commission. Flour prices are much higher now than they were a few days ago. Please support our bakery by donating to the Food & Water Campaign now: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… Other ways to donate include: paypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Food") account.venmo.com/u/Maher-Al… (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "Food")

How do you explain a genocide to a child with special needs? How do you soothe a child with autism when bombs are exploding around them? How do you help a child with sensory sensitivities, cognitive disabilities, or limited communication understand why their entire world has become terrifying? Contribute to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… This is the impossible reality for parents across Gaza caring for children with disabilities. Children who desperately need stability, routine, safety, and specialized care are instead living through relentless trauma and displacement. On September 17, The Sameer Project visited the family of Ahmed in Deir al-Balah. Ahmed is autistic and frequently attempts to run away from the family's tent, placing him at enormous risk in an already dangerous environment. Our team installed protective tarpaulins around the tent to help keep Ahmed safe and provided food, hygiene supplies, and diapers. The total cost was $285 after commission. For families caring for children with disabilities during a genocide, survival requires more than food and water. It requires protection, understanding, and support tailored to their needs. Help The Sameer Project continue reaching the families whose struggles are too often overlooked. Everyone at The Sameer Project’s Refaat Alareer Camp knows Amir. His infectious energy, his dancing, his smile, and his larger-than-life personality make him impossible not to love. Support here: chuffed.org/project/113327-r… Amir faces significant medical challenges, including a defect in his hard palate (the roof of his mouth). But with the dedicated support of our onsite occupational therapist and physiotherapist, he continues to make incredible progress. Even the determination it takes to learn to drink through a straw, blow up a balloon, and improve his speech when the roof of your mouth hasn't developed properly. These are milestones many take for granted, but for Amir, each one is a victory. This is why rehabilitation matters. This is why consistent care matters. And this is why The Sameer Project remains committed to providing children like Amir with the therapy they deserve, right where they live. Help us keep these services running by donating to the Refaat Alareer Camp link: chuffed.org/project/113327-r… Other ways to donate include: paypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Camp") account.venmo.com/u/Maher-Al… (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "Camp")

Imagine having no shower, no running water, and nothing but the sea to bathe in. This is the reality for so many displaced children in Gaza. Help please: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… When access to clean water and cleansing soap is severely limited, keeping hair shorter makes basic hygiene easier. Sweat, dirt, scalp irritation, and lice become much harder to manage when children cannot wash regularly. For these children, a haircut isn't about appearance. It's about health, hygiene, and dignity. So on September 17, The Sameer Project brought our free Mobile Barbershop initiative to Al-Radwan Camp 6, providing haircuts directly to displaced children who have already been deprived of so much. The total…only approximately $180 after transfer fees. Hygiene is a basic human need. Help The Sameer Project’s initiatives support this by donating to our General Fund: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Other ways to donate include: paypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "GENERAL") account.venmo.com/u/Maher-Al… (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "GENERAL")

They killed her family members, they destroyed her home, they displaced her multiple times, they deprived her of medication, and her attachment to Palestinian is unshakable. Give to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/136892-m… The military occupation continues the genocide in Gaza for its fourth year. But no matter how large the destruction is, nothing can destroy Palestinian faith or spirit, and nothing will drive us out of our land. This video was taken during a chronic illness mobile clinic on October 20th in Rimal Al Aqsa Camp in Hamad City, Khan Younis. This was the 7th visit by The Sameer Project medical team to this camp where 48 patients were treated and given free medication. The bus initiative provides some level of normalcy for Palestinians in Gaza. It facilitates family visits, getting to hospital appointments, market visits and more. Support here: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… The Sameer Project provides nine buses daily between different parts of the Gaza Strip. The bus in this video is from an overcrowded area called Al Shatii that needs more buses as people struggle a lot with transport. Your material support is not ending the genocide but is providing some relief. While international organizations struggle to operate in Gaza and has a lot of red tape and operational costs, The Sameer Project makes sure that 90% of your donations arrive to Gaza legally and safely. A father caring for two children with cerebral palsy, with no support system left. Before the genocide, his children had access to specialized programs, medical care, and services that supported their development. Today, those services are gone. He has been left to manage their care alone while struggling to provide even the most basic necessity: food. Help here: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… This is the reality for countless families in Gaza caring for children with disabilities. Families who were already vulnerable have lost nearly every form of support they once depended on. On September 13, The Sameer Project kitchen distributed 451 meals of rice and kofta. Of those, 431 meals went to displaced families in Al-Karm Camp in Deir Al Balah seen here, and 20 were delivered to Civil Defense workers. The total cost after 11% transfer fees was $1,306. For less than $3, you can take one burden off a parent already carrying more than anyone should have to bear. Help us keep our kitchen running. Families like his are depending on us. How long do you think 10 liters of water would last you? For reference… Boiling a pot of pasta? 3 to 5 liters. Flushing your toilet? 6 to 9 liters. Taking a 5-minute shower? More than 35 to 50 liters. Washing a sink full of dishes? 10 to 20 liters of water… Donate here: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… Now imagine having just 10 liters for an entire day, as a family. To drink, cook, wash your hands, clean your dishes, bathe your children, and maintain basic hygiene. For displaced families in Gaza, every liter must be carefully rationed. There is no turning on a faucet when the water runs out. No guaranteed refill tomorrow. What you might use in a few MINUTES, a family in Gaza may have to stretch across an entire DAY! The Sameer Project produces and delivers clean water directly to displaced communities because water is survival. For children in Gaza, even maintaining basic hygiene has become a struggle. Without regular access to showers, clean water, or hygiene products, longer hair can mean more sweating, itching, and difficulty managing lice, especially as children finally return to some semblance of a classroom. A simple haircut can make a world of difference! Help here: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… The Sameer Project brings free barbershop services directly into displacement camps. On September 17, we organized a free haircut initiative at Al-Radwan Camp 6 for a total cost of just around $180 after 11% banking fees. Clean hair, a fresh haircut, and a little dignity restored. These are the small but essential comforts every child deserves. The Sameer Project bring the haircuts to them because even the simplest needs should never be out of reach. It’s not just about finding clean water in Gaza. It’s about having a safe container to bring it home in. Give to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… Many displaced families, like this woman’s, have been using the same battered plastic jerrycans for years. Some are cracked, impossible to properly clean, and contaminated with mold, algae, and bacteria. A recent study of displacement camps in North Gaza found that 42% of surveyed households reported gastrointestinal illness within the previous month, with higher rates in areas where water contamination was detected. The Sameer Project works to produce and deliver clean water directly to displaced communities. But safe water storage is just as essential as access to the water itself. When we first opened Tawbah Clinic in Jabalia Camp in April 2025, the immediate flood of patients was almost impossible to comprehend… 300–350 patients every single day. Contribute here: chuffed.org/project/136892-m… Families who had gone without any medical care throughout years of genocide, displacement, and the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system, all put their trust in us. Our doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to examine patients, stabilize emergencies, treat injuries, and provide desperately needed medications. But something extraordinary happened over time… Tawbah became more than a clinic. We became part of the community’s daily life. Patients returned for checkups, continued treatment, wound care, and chronic disease management. Our medical team built relationships with families who finally had somewhere they could depend on. Now The Sameer Project’s Tawbah is not simply a place people visit when they're sick, but a place they trust to care for them. It costs approximately $1,900 a day to keep Tawbah operating. Help us protect what we've built together. These families cannot afford to lose their clinic. We have stood by Abdullah’s side, quite literally, since the moment he was born. Born with hydrocephalus and severe cranial deformity, Abdullah has faced unimaginable medical challenges since his first breath. Support here: chuffed.org/project/113327-r… Without access to medical evacuation for specialized treatment abroad, he has endured multiple procedures to drain excess fluid from his brain, infections, malnutrition, and countless medical complications. Abdullah has lived at our Refaat Alareer Camp since he was just six months old. With the dedication of our onsite physiotherapist and continued medical support, he is reaching milestones that once seemed impossible. He can now turn from side to side, hold his own baby bottle, extend his legs, and is determined to sit upright despite the extraordinary weight of his head. Every movement is a victory. What has become of Gaza’s children? What future awaits a generation forced to search for shelter and water instead of going to school? Support Gaza here: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… A man in northern Gaza speaks about the childhoods stolen by genocide. Children who should be carrying backpacks and textbooks are instead carrying empty water containers, searching for food, and trying to survive another day. Education has been replaced by displacement. Playgrounds by rubble. Dreams of the future by the struggle to survive the present. Instead of attending school they are using their old classrooms as shelter. These children have already lost years of their childhood. We cannot allow them to lose their futures too. Even while standing in line for water, the idea of a free Palestine is on her mind. Give to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… A young girl in Gaza recites a poem about her homeland as she waits for one of life's most basic necessities. At an age when she should be learning poetry in a classroom, she is standing in line for water to survive. The occupation can destroy homes, displace families, and deprive children of their most basic rights, but it cannot erase their love for Palestine. The Sameer Project continues delivering clean water to displaced communities across Gaza. These children should not have to fight this hard just to survive. We cannot wait until tents collapse on families, until children are injured, or until every belonging a family owns is soaked through by rain before we act. Give to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Winter is here in Gaza, and many of the worn-out tents sheltering displaced families will not survive the first strong storm. On October 15, The Sameer Project replaced three deteriorating tents at our Refaat Alareer Camp and reinforced their protection by reinstalling tarpaulins. The cost was just $429 for all three families, after 11% commission was included. Winterization is about prevention, not waiting for disaster. These families have already lost their homes. A simple haircut becomes a luxury when you’re living through genocide, especially for people with disabilities. Supporter mobile barber here: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Gaza’s rubble-filled roads and destroyed infrastructure make something as ordinary as getting a haircut incredibly difficult for those with limited mobility. That’s why The Sameer Project brings free Mobile Barbershop services directly into displacement camps, ensuring that children and people with disabilities aren't deprived of basic personal care and dignity. On October 15, our team visited Issa Murad Camp in North Gaza, providing free haircuts to 75 individuals for just around $180 including the 11% transfer fee. This father explains how difficult it is to navigate the destroyed roads with his son and a neighbor with special needs, and how much this simple initiative means to them. Humanitarian aid isn't just about food, water, and medicine. It's also about restoring the everyday dignity that genocide has stripped away.
